This is the best fresh mac&cheese with a the best fresh hamburgers and cheese I’ve ever had. The crinkle cut fries taste like the potato’s were cut mins before I got my food. Very delicious and the woman that helped me I never got your name but merry Christmas. Maybe you’re single. Lol

First time eating at this franchise restaurant. Ordered 2 #1 Giant tenders combo and 1 spicy smash burger with fries. The tenders were fine. The fries were also fine. However the spice smash burger wasn't spicy at all. The jalapeños had no bite to them. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff is very friendly. One of the faucets in the public restroom was broken. I will tentatively give it a 👍

The new quesadilla is quite good. Chicken is always cooked right, nice and tender, and the tenders are a personal favorite of me and my coworkers. Good crew too, always friendly and helpful. Vae did great today with getting me the new quesadilla.

First time visit here. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and feels like a southern kitchen. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Also, fist time customer discount! 10 out of 10!
I finally had the opportunity to try Crazy D's Hot Chicken today. First off, I want to mention the interior. It’s pretty spartan. The chairs are small and a bit uncomfortable but still serviceable. That would be my only real suggestion for improvement (roomier chairs).
That said, the food looks exactly like the pictures online, which is rare. I ordered the #1 combo with medium heat and a drink on the side.
The fries were seasoned nicely, leaning on seasoned salt, which I enjoyed since I never use it at home and rarely find fries seasoned that way. They were crinkle cut and tasted great.
What stood out most was the flavor of the chicken. It has a flour-style batter coating, and the medium heat level was perfect. Spicy enough to notice but not over the top. I also liked that they included five dill pickles and a slice of bread to soak up a bit of the grease underneath the tenders. That slight bit of grease made the bread even tastier.
I’m not sure why I waited so long to try their chicken. It was absolutely worth the time and money. After tipping 17%, the total came to about $20.00, which makes eating there very affordable. The two large tenders that come with the combo are surprisingly filling.
The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I crave spicy chicken. Honestly, I think Crazy D’s beats Guthrie’s. The food is better, and the overall friendliness gives them a clear edge.
