Fun place to just hangout have a couple drinks and shoot some pool with some friends. Definitely love the bartenders and just everybody there. My fiance and I and apa pool team play pool there regularly.
One of many local 'dive bars' in Carson City. What sets Ed's Doghouse apart from the rest? A nice, helpful owner and kind staff. Open early on Saturdays so you can watch football. Internet for the customers. And he makes a great Bloody Mary! 5 TVs showing sports with sound on, balanced, so as not to disturb others on a different TV. The one star missing is due to aesthetics and comfort only. Could use a makeover but that's a minor quibble and not different...
If I recall correctly, Ed's Dog H has been in business around 30+ years. It's clear they've provided what works for their customers. The inside is a bit smaller then some bars yet it works well. It's comfortable, cozy & easier to engage in conversation & meet new people. The customers are frien helpful & fun 2 be around. The bartenders (mostly, if not all, females) are very nice, attentive & they pour well. I started drinking Bloody Mary's...
