1st off, I forgot my phone and did not get pics of these amazing plates. The plates were literally 18" across and circular. The restaurant itself was very clean looking. It was a little warm in there, but not unbearable. OK on to the food. The chips were fresh, they bring out a plate of refried beans and bowl of salsa. The salsa was perfect. Had a deep rich flavor with plenty of chopped veggies in it and a little spice. Just enough. I ordered the #6 combination plate. 1 chilli relleno My fave 1 ground beef taco Yumm Yummm 1 enchilada, I opted to try the cheese. It came with rice and beans. This plate was totally full of food. Hubby ordered a #3 combination plate of 3 enchiladas He opted for 2 cheese and 1 ground beef Rice and beans. Another totally full plate. Have plenty left for dinner tonight. Our waitress was Nancy and she was the sweetest. Kept the table clean of unwanted dishes etc It started to get a little busy as we were leaving. But boy oh boy, we will be going back to try some new dishes. This food was great and did not disappoint. Go by and try them out. Their menu is large and so many things to try. One of the few restaurants in Carson City that actually offers queso in the appetizers. Don't know why it's so hard to find queso around here. Will be trying that next trip on a lunch date.

I really loved this place I came here with my family all the time I even recommended this place to people but not anymore. I came in with my family and I ordered the mole it was so good it had a bunch of grilled onions with the chicken I took a bite and thought it was a “crispy” onion and it turned out to be a long piece of plastic maybe from a bag? I was instantly grossed out and told the waiter that I found a piece of plastic in my food. She apologized to me and said oh I’m sorry we have a new cook let me go ahead and take your plate. She took my plate back to the kitchen and proceeded to sit down and eat the rest of her food. I was in shock she didn’t offer to take it off or to compensate for the trouble, mind you it was a full plate of food still and I was still hungry. I let the rest of my family finish eating and we went up to pay and the owner of the restaurant asked who had the plastic in the food and I let them know I did . She kind of friendly giggled and said I’m sorry and we left. Very disappointed because I loved this restaurant.

Ordered food through Door Dash, They made my Door Dasher wait 15 min. And my food was still delivered cold. The beans and rice were minimal and tasted old. I watched my Door dasher time and communicated with them so this was all on the restaurant.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for a long time and highly recommended it to some people that I get together with once a month for lunch. We had reservations and when we arrived there was not a table ready for a party of eight. We were waited on by a young girl, who I believe is part of the family that owns the place, she was not rude, but needs to be more pleasant to the customers. We had to ask for more chips and salsa, had to ask for silverware and then the food arrived and what a disappointment. Two of the ladies ordered something with beef and neither of them ate, they said, it was so tough they couldn't chew it. The rest of the meals were very small and noone was happy with what they ordered. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

We eat here on the regular. My absolute favorite is the shrimp fajitas. The super margaritas are awesome too. The family that owns this are so friendly and kind. We love them!

A new surprise for me! Mexican food I really liked! Did a girls lunch here, food is excellent! I had a chicken Chimichanga, girls ordered everything from Flautas, to fajitas- all enjoyed! Best margaritas in town too! Service was fun, not too intrusive.
