Ordered what I had heard were excellent red velvet waffles with fried chicken. Both were dry, flavorless, and inedible. My husband's dish was the ravioli with short rib. The sauce was broken and the rest was bland, watery. Even visually, the food was poorly-executed. It was all just bad. Our server never returned to the table to ask how everything was. We left without to-go boxes for the first time in years. What is going on in that kitchen?!

Cute eatery in Carson right by the Capitol building and park~ relaxed but airy/cute venue that is on the smaller side but is decorated sweetly/nicely and you can see some dessert options across the way when you walk in~ menu is simple but has some upscale options- the mimosas will occasionally run a special and they're pretty good, the food is a good portion size and you can ask for different sides to add as wanted. Friendly staff and fast service but you don’t feel rushed. Definitely recommend for a girls brunch, friend meet-up spot or if you want to treat yourself and read a book while you get breakfast.
