Went here for lunch today and was not disappointed. This place is really good. Has a great, simple menu. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. And the food was awesome. Started off with the Deviled Egg appetizer. It has these peppers from Peru that I learned about today - Sweetie Drops - they're great. I had the French Dip sandwich with a Quinoa Grain salad. There is so much meat on the sandwich. It was all so delicious.

I called a few days ahead and asked if they were open for lunch. They replied yes and took my reservation. I showed up at the appointed time and they were closed. There were several other folks that arrived and discovered they were closed. Great way to run a business! Won’t be trying them again....I received NO message from you saying you’d be closed.

I am appalled that an owner treats her dedicated, hardworking employees like this owner! She has laid off the employees with excuses. Then turns around and announces she will reopen in the fall...with all new employees. The only reason this place survived was because of those dedicated employees! SHAME ON YOU! You have definitely lost our business and I will spread the word!

Shame on you, closing your door on the wonderful staff that has kept you going. You then advertise you will open in the fall after your vacation with all new staff. Beware 5 star raters, it won't be the wonderful chef who prepared all those 5 star meals you had.

We had such an amazing meal here!! Started with the BBQ Shrimp after our waitress recommended it - so delicious!I got the Atlantic Cod for my meal and let me tell you, I'd eat this again and again. The mashed potatoes. The lobster cream sauce. The cod itself. So, so good. Husband got the steak and loved it, too. Ended with some ice cream that was also just amazing. It's from somewhere local but I'm blanking on the name. Lovely waitress, amazing food. Highly recommend!

This place is so yummy ! I ordered the seasonal salad and the flavor was amazing, very happy I ordered the large! I also got a French dip and the veggie patch. I ordered take out and everything was hot and fresh. On my way to order again !!

One of the best meals we have had in Carson City. My wife and I came here on a date night. We started with the Pinot Noir and mushroom bruschetta, both of which were excellent. My wife had the Halibut special which came with a lobster cream sauce with baby scallops. It was fantastic and my wife was very happy with her meal and I was impressed with the few bites she shared with me. I had the short ribs which were excellent cuts of meat and cooked to perfection. The sauce was excellent and I was also happy with the sides. Melinda provides us excellent service and Gather is now on our shortlist for our next date night.

Went with my husband for date night. Very clean and friendly staff. I had the lamb chops special which was fantastic and my husband had the blackened Ahi tuna, which was also very good. We made reservations so there was no wait. We had the blueberry cobbler with homemade blueberry ice cream for dessert and it was delicious! Prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for. Decent portion and very tasty food. We would definitely return but probably only for special occasions.

I need to dedicate this post to the burger I devoured yesterday. Look at all the photos. Not all burgers are created equal, I have had them a thousand different ways. This artisan burger just came up and passed up everything in my 49 years. Like a wrecking ball.Ingredients. It's all about this as the baseline. Start with the pickles; bread & butter with a kick, made onsite. The right choice of greens, you cannot just throw iceberg on and call it good. As you can see in the photos they use the good stuff. They use produce sourced from Dayton Valley Hydroponics. The tomato seemed like an orange color heirloom. Juicy, tasty, exotic. Perfection.Very lighly pickled onion. Add layer of perfect.I added cheddar cheese and bacon to the build list, it payed off with a huge win. Had an independent bacon expert to check my work, verified. Bacon is perfect.Where's the beef from? Bently Ranch, a local source of amazing meat. If you see a place offering Bently Beef in a steak or burger, get it! The burger was abour a half pound, cooked a perfect medium. Juicy, tasty, and maybe there was a little chimichurri.With all of those added together, they combined to make the ultimate burger I have ever experienced. Hands down. This is it.Gather in Carson City is where you find this culinary delight.

Unbelievably delicious! Every bite was a masterpiece!! Highly recommend the BBQ shrimp appetizer. How can they make a Cobb Salad so delicious?!! Everything is made with the highest quality local ingredients and the service was amazing. This will definitely be a regular stop for us. Can't wait to come back. Also, downtown Carson is worth the drive. Charming!!
