We have always loved coming here for celebrations! The food has always been good and the service has been great!
We just had dinner there tonight after a month of planning what we were going to do for Thanksgiving since most of us work in healthcare and didn’t have the day off.
My father in law gifted us a $300 gift card last year for Glen Eagles- so we decided to finally use it and have our late Thanksgiving dinner here with our family.
Upon receiving our bill, we were told we cannot use our gift card since we had a large party (9) and the card indicated on the back it cannot be used with “Large Parties” but not specifying what that meant in numbers. Regardless- we had paid our bill despite our frustration with the situation, and before leaving I had addressed the situation and frustration with the staff.
The front desk hostess was rude upon hearing me discussed it also with the General Manager (gentleman walking around greeting everyone). I explained that I am only addressing the situation to make them aware that they need to clarify on there gift cards what a “Large Party” entails… so that no one else has to endure the same situation. I was not looking for a refund or to force them to use the gift card. Also, I just wanted to understand why they set limitations on a gift card that was bought with my father in law’s money? We weren’t trying to get a free meal or get discount, this isn’t a coupon- which a coupon should have limitations. THIS WAS A GIFT CARD bought with my family’s own money!
We don’t work in the restaurant industry, so we don’t know what a “Large Party” means.
And we don’t think about asking this information when booking a dinner with family and/ wanting to use a gift card. There should be no limitations! We were not informed of this when we called to make reservations! So I’m simply disappointed in the lack of clarification as it was not elaborated on the gift card, Yelp, Google or Glen Eagle’s website - and when addressing the concern, the staff disregards it and made it seem like I am trying to get a refund. Next time do not offer to sell gift cards with restrictive conditions limiting their use. It’s not right, you’re not losing money by people using gift cards. You already took my father in law’s money when he purchased a $300 gift card at your restaurant.
For everyone using gift cards, know you can’t use it on parties greater than 6.

WOW - this place is amazing and I'm ashamed to say, my wife and I just went here for the very first time since moving to Carson City 15 years ago. As others have stated, the quality and taste of the food here is outstanding, the service is super friendly and the atmosphere is simply charming for an elegant dinner without feeling pretentious. As in, when we came, we were wearing t-shirts and jeans and still felt welcomed. I should note that we sat at the bar as we always like to have a drink before dinner but ended up staying there for our meal as well. Even though it was a Wednesday evening, the place was packed and full of life and a lot of fun to be in. My wife ordered the petit filet with mashed potatoes and I ordered the rib eye with their jasmine rice pilaf and both were cooked perfectly and were simply delicious. This is a place we will definitely be frequenting from here on out and next time, we're coming with friends! Need I say, I would highly recommend this place.

Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying, and you can tell the food is made with care. The calamari could use a little more seasoning, but everything else was spot on. It’s such a lovely spot for anyone craving good Italian food, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Glen Eagles has become one of our favorite spots! The food is always delicious, and there’s such a great variety on the menu that it’s hard to pick just one thing. We come here almost every month for our date nights because the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Jessica in the lounge always makes the experience even better with her friendly service. Every visit feels special—truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy great food and company!

The food here is fantastic. We had a party of 5 and it took about 2.5 hours from start to finish. If we needed a minute to figure out what we were ordering, we ended up not seeing the server for more than 10 minutes.

The atmosphere is nice, but it's loud. The room has a bit of an echo so sound just bounces and makes it challenging to have a conversation when there are four or five other groups dining in the same room.

From the impeccable service to the flavorful food, this restaurant is a gem! Max and Lucas were excellent wait staff! Highly recommend the marinated and grilled artichokes for an appetizer. Ohh, the chicken noodle soup, must I say, chef’s kiss! The peppercorn New York strip and filet mignon were cooked to perfection! Do yourself a favor and make the stop!

Been going here for years…love this place.
Tonight, 10/3/25, I noticed on the menu for Sides, a baked potato for $10!!
Just…….Baked Potato…$10

I thought What? How can that be?
Maybe if it had a little more of a fancy up-do to the description, $10 wouldn’t seem so bad.
We all know what they cost at the grocery store!
Love your Caesar Salad…it’s always great and none better in Carson! Keep it up!
Thankyou…

Fish was good, soup was cold, young wait staff gathered at the front desk chatting about their weekends, not a good vibe.

Good food but do not bring wine for them to cork. The corkage fee now an outrageous $50.
