The best coffee!

Probably the best vanilla latte I've had from a coffee shop, I love that they make their own ingredients, don't bother with Starbucks or Dutch bros. There are so many options and ways to customize your drink the way you like, Larry's is worth it! Everyone working there is so nice and they just want to make sure you have a good experience, and leave with a coffee you really enjoy.

Coffee and an expanded menu for many coffee drinkers. I’ve known Larry from the very beginning. The menu and service is always top notch at all three locations to include Virginia City, Dayton, and Carson City Nevada. Larry also offers his brand of beans at great prices. I treat coffee as “you get what you pay for”. As in all my reviews I include cleanliness! All three of Larry’s coffee shops are clean and well maintained. His staff are pros, and fun to chat with. If you are at one of the aforementioned towns I recommend a visit. Cheers

I was served a black extremely bitter espresso for $5+. Are you serious? How hard is it to make an espresso that has crema and tastes delicious? The Dutch Bros seem to be able to train their folks to pull a proper espresso shot all over Nevada, California, and Oregon.

It always a surprise when served food or drink so poorly executed that it ends unconsumed in the trash bin.

Great atmosphere, barista has a GREAT personality! Ordered the hot cinnamon, chocolate, coconut, carmel mocha and it’s really really good. Damn good, actually. 10 out of 10 for service, coffee and atmosphere!

This was a very disappointing experience. I have been wanting to check this location out for a while as a local. I’m a longtime lover of coffee and a current barista, I know what I’m looking for in coffee. I asked the barista on shift questions about the drink I wanted to order, a standard iced mocha, and was given very condescending answers as if I was an idiot for asking. Making an iced mocha with drip coffee, milk and chocolate powder, already not how standard iced mochas are created. The chocolate powder wasn’t dissolved and left a gritty texture in every sip. The coffee was extremely burnt in flavor, and made for a really really disappointing experience. Not to mention it was $18 for the two drinks that were nearly undrinkable. Measurements in almost all standard coffee shops for hot and iced drinks are the same, the “larger ounce measurement” on the iced drinks that you’re paying for is really just room for ice. Out of every local coffee shop in Carson city, none of them have an up-charge for iced drinks except for Larry’s gourmet coffee. Maybe I just had the one off bad experience? But as a professional in the field I can definitively say that this is not how specialty drinks are created. For the exact same price you can go to any other specialty cafe downtown and receive a good experience and a great coffee. I payed a lot of money to wait 25+ minutes for the drink and to be condescended and extremely let down. Sadly, I cannot recommend.

We absolutely LOVE Larry's Gourmet Coffee, ( Definitely beats Starbucks ) not only are the staff excellent & always go above & beyond to make sure the coffee you choose is perfect to the taste, but it's such a treat running into Larry himself. I love how original he is, kind and just the fact that he actually dresses up for his customers makes him an amazing owner.
Larry's has our hearts!

The cutest drive through coffee spot! Fast service! And great coffee! Will definitely come again when I’m back in town!
