This is a good place to come for a easy lunch. The menu is small, but the food tastes decent. Not as good as it once was, but pretty good. Service is good as you might be the only one in there till golf lets out. Patty melt was decent.
I played the Empire Ranch Golf Course, and after the round had some time before my family came back to pick me up. I walked into Mallards, and was greeted by a very friendly bartender/attendant/waitress (one person). The food was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the service was attentive and friendly. I could not have asked for a nicer post round finish.
Often the round of golf comes with a coupon to the restaurant so perfect for that after round snack and beverage. Service is good, sometimes they can get short staffed but most of the time ok. Food cooked fresh and great place to settle the golfing wagers.
