Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Just opening for the day as we arrived shortly after 11am. In the area and thought I would try their new promo I seen on the TV commercial (spicy 3 meat sauce). Well, we did enjoy the Shrimp Fritto Misto however the rest of the food was just alright. Service - good Suzanne- 4 star My cocktail on the other hand; although tasty - no one noticed the rotting strawberry. Fortunately, none of that part of the strawberry touched my drink otherwise I’d be asking for a new one.

I go to this location a lot. They are very good but every now and then we get a waitress that we wait to get help from. The food is great. I’d go before 3pm to get from the lunch menu. It’s much cheaper with a smaller amount. You still get salad and breadsticks. I highly recommend the Zeppolis for dessert. Zeppoli are warm, made-to-order Italian donuts dusted with baker's sugar and served with a choice of chocolate or raspberry dipping sauce. They are amazing!

Okay, so we hit up the Olive Garden in Carson City the other day, and frankly, it was a really solid experience. We started with the potato and Italian sausage soup – it was creamy, flavorful, and just perfect for a slightly chilly day. For our entrees, I had the chicken marmalade (which was surprisingly good!) and my friend got the ravioli with shrimp. Both dishes were excellent.

Everything was cooked just right, and the portions were generous. No complaints at all about the food.
The service was also pretty good. Our server was attentive without being overly pushy, and everything came out in a timely manner. The only slightly odd thing was checking out with the little machine at the table. I mean, it's not a big deal, and I guess that's just how things are going these days, but it felt a little impersonal. Whatever, it got the job done.

We noticed they had some decent-looking lunch specials, too, although we unfortunately missed the cut-off (11 am to 3 pm, if I remember right). Next time, we'll try to go earlier and take advantage of those. Another plus was that it wasn't too crowded, probably because it was a weekday. Overall, it was a really good meal, and we'll definitely be back. Worth checking out if you're in the mood for some classic Italian-American comfort food. Five stars from us!

I recommend the chicken Margherita. Grilled chicken with 2 separate sauces, one of which was basil pesto, which I love! I can't eat pasta right now, so this was perfect!

Our server, Jordan, was fantastic. Helpful and funny. He was kind and wonderful to be looked after by. Our glasses were never empty, which is amazing given how much my husband drinks tea. The food was as it normally is, but Jordan made the experience.

The food was delicious (even reheated a couple of times). You certainly don't leave hungry! Service was good but not outstanding. Looking forward to being there again soon. 😀
