I love the flexibility of being able to pick up my pizza and cooking it when I wish. The pizza is such good quality that the delay in cooking does not affect the final cooked product.

I ordered online for curbside. I waited on the them to bring out my pizza for 20 minutes. I then asked my granddaughter who is a young child to let them know we were here for curbside pickup. They directed her to the pizza for her to bring out to the car. It wasn’t the complete order. I went inside asking them why my granddaughter had to bring out the pizza and they didn’t give her the correct order. I explained I was handicapped and also have a fractured back. They kept saying I had to call them first. I explained that this was not on the order website. Then continued to go back and forth with that statement and lastly said You got your pizza! I asked to speak to the manager, the employee stated he was and the other was the assistant manager. I asked them if I was going to get any compensation for my issues. He just assumed it was monetary, when I was looking for an apology. He furthermore said I could get a refund. I asked for the rest of my order and the 3rd employee that was behind the counter said in the refrigerator in a hateful tone. There were 3 employees and 2 people that were looking like they were together making an order. They said they needed notice for the curbside, they were informed when my granddaughter went in explaining we were there waiting also gave them my name. Looking at the receipt when I got home, big bold letters CURBSIDE on it. Along with my name, the time of pickup, including the description of my car that was requested by the online order system. The manager, assistant manager and cashier were extremely rude, disrespectful, condescending, no remorse, bullying with no regards for their accountability of their actions! I managed many businesses and be lucky I wasn’t theirs. I was so appalled by this situation, I would give them a write up and with the knowledge that this was their final warning and would be fired if it occurred again! This behavior was unacceptable on many levels! Word to the owner, your store can advertise all you want, but the word of mouth is your bread and butter of your advertisement. A suggestion to you as well, retrain those youngsters on customer service and civility! If I could give you a zero or less, I would!!!The owner wanted to hear more of my issues by going to the survey site, which was no way of getting to know more about my issue. It was just that a survey to give me a coupon. I tried the the chat with the Brand Ambassador and all they do is submit your information to receive a response from them. I submitted my contact information 3 times and never heard back. Basically any complaints are not resolved. To the owner, no I won’t return!

To the owners of Papa Murphys on November 2, 2023 at 1230 I phoned in an order for 2 calzones I was put on hold and given to someone else. The order was then taken. I showed up and was told that the phones were out all morning and no order had been made. Then, I was told if they had them they would be in the refrigerator case. They were not available in the case.I made them make the calzones and waited. Then, I heard one boys say he flunked his mid-terms in history and English. While I was waiting, I dialed the number and it rang through. The young lady did all of the work while the boys did nothing. I just wanted you to know! We've been customers for years with you.

I attempted to order an item that we have been getting regularly for several years from the Papa Murphy's on Hwy 50. the "manager" in charge at the time - told me they don't do that anymore and haven't done it for a long time. I explained to him that I've been getting this item all along and most recently got it about a month ago. His response was, "Well, I'm the manager and I say no." Wow, apparently this guy (notice I'm not using the word gentleman) has never excelled at customer service. I explained to him that he is also the manager that won't be getting my business. Then I called to get the name of the franchise owner, who works at the Elko store. I called to talk to this this guy (again, gentleman, not an option) and his attitude throughout the conversation was one of nonchalance and uninterest. I explained the situation to him and that not only was I going to write a scathing review on yelp, but I was never coming back. At that point, he seemed even less interested in providing me any form of customer service and/or validation of my complaint. He never even asked me specifically WHAT the issue was, what I was trying to order. I guess their business is good enough that they don't care how they treat their customers. I'm literally shocked at the lack of interest from the franchise owner. If I had a bad experience and I called in to complain, how many people have had similar experiences and didn't bother to call in? He did say that he didn't have all the facts and I assured him that what I told him was true. So in short, ta-ta Papa Murphy's on highway 50 in Carson City, you won't get one red cent more of my money and I sincerely hope people reading this review can appreciate the frustration of being talked to and treated basically like a dog turd in the gutter. Interestingly the Papa Murphy's in South Carson City is NOT owned by the same franchise owner. I would strongly encourage people to consider this when spending your hard-earned money. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Oh and one more little tidbit, if you call and no one answers and you just get a generic voice mail message, that doesn't even identify that you have reached a Papa Murphy's store, that means they are too busy to answer the phone. I found that out when I had called on Friday evening and kept getting a generic voice mail message. I called the south CC store and was told that they do that when they are "too busy."

I'm giving 2 stars because (1) I ordered a Mediterranean chicken pizza online that had only 2 toppings (chicken & spinach), (2) I called and called to let them know & no one answered the phone. We've actually had no problem with this location in the past, but I could have spent $22 at another local place and I wouldn't have had to slice & dice & bake it myself for an 'easy dinner night'. No accountability?

Absolutely terrible. I had called repeatedly trying to place an order then when I arrived in store I had to announce myself for service. The young KID behind the counter lied to my face and said that they had been slammed for the last 45 minutes. I had sat in the parking lot and called the store to see if anyone would pick up the phone and no one could be seen. Absolutely terrible service.

Food is fine. Nothing spectacular but nonetheless you get what you pay for. All the staff is rude. The teen boys vape in the walk in freezer so just beware that it’s happening where all the ingredients are kept.
