Peg's is always a great place for breakfast especially if you enjoy island dishes like a Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage and of course, spam and eggs. And I should note, I've been to a lot of Peg's from Reno to Vegas and they're all just a bit different one to the next. That said, I especially like the one here in Carson City because of the way they cook the above mentioned dishes and LOVE their specific mac salad. A pro tip of mine is to order up a side of pico to go with your meal as it's fresh and delicious! My wife always like to order up their Belgian waffle with banana fosters or the Plaza Omelette and I can never resist finishing up what she can't eat. Peg's can get pretty busy on the weekends, especially on a Sunday after church lets out so if you're coming in with your family, you should know there might be a wait.
Well the first time in December was great the next time in February not only was the food not good but the service was terrible. The front desk person was also annoyed with how I was paying. Way too expensive to not be excellent.

Great place for breakfast. The servers are friendly, food was excellent, good value. Definitely will go back when I am in town.
I called and placed a pick up order was very fast and attentive, pick up was a breeze for it to be super busy my food was ready in 10 mins,the portions are huge and the best biscuits and gravy I've had in a while I got the eggs chorizo Benedict different but very good loved the chorizo sausage ?

In a mostly empty restaurant. 30 minutes after ordering, finally was able get the servers attention to ask where our food was, no drink refills during that time. Not quite 15 minutes later, the server returns with our meal and a cheerful, sorry about that....your meal was delivered to a different table and we had to remake it.... so 45 minutes after ordering, one of us got a hot-ish breakfast the other got dried out barely warm, and finally someone asked if we wanted more coffee... and... here's your full price check. First time in years, I have not tipped at a restaurant.Food was just ok-ish. I will not be back.
Fantastic service, with friendly staff. It's old fashioned and great food. Best omelette I've ever had!!!Dietary restrictions: They have keto options on their menu. I'd recommend the sauteed veggies.

Just "ok" food with cheerful but poor service. Seated right away, drinks ordered and delivered promptly, ordered meal..... 30 minutes later after 3 attempts, finally caught the servers eye to ask where our meal was. No drink refills during that time server did not notice that we had no food, empty drinks, and that she was serving meals to people wo had come in way after us. After finally getting her attention, 10 more minutes passed and she arrived with the food cheerfully announcing that our meal had been served to someone else and they had to remake it. The restaurant was less than 20% full. Oops, gosh we're sorry, that will be $44. I did not leave a tip and I will not be back.

Was seated, asked if I was having coffee, said yes. Waited 5-10 minutes while waitress sat two other groups (2 people). She then proceeded to get their drinks, and orders before i even got water. No other waitresses asked if I'd been helped or even acknowledged me. If they don't have time for a customer, I don't eat there. Usually enjoy Peg's. Not eating at Carsons location again.
