Its the only Mexican place i like out here. Im from Northern California. Been out here in Dayton NV for all about 3 1/2 years and i dont like any of the other taqueria or restaurant serving Mexican food. The building it self is plain. But thats a minor detail. Thr service is great. They are fast and the food in my stiff opinion is awesome. Like i said the only place i like so the only place i go to for my Mexican food. The portions are generous and pricing is fair.
A great place, blue mission style brick building back when it was a taco bell. We love the hard to find sopes, which, with a cheese enchilada a la carte is filling and delicious. The unknown sauce on the sopes looks like sour cream (crema), but it isn't, I forgot to ask what it is.
I've yet to have a bad meal at this place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, everything seems to be made fresh. The place is a bit old and dated, but kept clean.I think that some of the negative reviews are written by people with very unrealistic expectations. I saw one complaining about no free chips and dip. This is a counter service restaurant and people are complaining about not getting things that are customary at full service restaurants. Go in knowing...
