The only place I go when I want a cold beer and chat with the locals .. The bartenders there are awesome but I only drink about 4-5 times a year lol

I like 2 shoot Pool at Remedy's. It is usually busy on the weekends late at night. Their bartenders are friendly as are their Customers & the Owners are terrific people who work hard & are hands on. I have a good time here. Most of my friends do not shoot pool nor go out late at night where as I'm use to late hours so when I go out to shoot Pool I'm usually by my self. I'm an older woman & there are very very few of us who go out late at night, even fewer who shoot Pool so that's 2 strikes against me Yet I do not let that stop me from doing what I love to do so long as i'm able to. Life does not need to be restrictive just because you become older. What has surprised me is how nice the younger people have been that I run into there are always . I can usually find someone to shoot pool & I like the music here. I feel comfortable going here by myself. There's a Juke Box filled with many different types of music, a dart board & a pin ball game.

Came to this spot with some friends as they have been here before. This place is pretty cool but it smelled like cigarettes right when I walked in. Only bothered me when I walked in but then I got used to it the rest of my stay. Stayed for a couple drinks but overall place was cool.
This is a cool little bar and the bar tender was super friendly. Right after we got there she came over shook our hands and introduced herself to us. The place was quiet and small and nice and relaxing.

If you prefer an establishment where the bartenders get drunk and treat customers horribly then this is the place for you. The bartenders namely Brittany and Tamara have their boyfriends sit at the bar all day long drinking for free and constantly berating others. If you have the misfortune of having a loud voice then be prepared to be talked about behind your back or simply straight to your face. They take cruelty to a whole new level. They do it just for sport. They think it's funny to cause others emotional pain. Then there is the physical confrontation. I was physically threatened by bartender Brittany after she called my mother a f.ing b***** I went back in defense for my mom. Auto reflex and was told by Brittany that she was going to come punch me in the face. All the while her boyfriend stood in my face in a threatening manor. Then another person put hands on me. This bar has changed names several times to attempt to crawl out from being called or labeled a violent bar. Just in recent news there was a stabbing with a pool stick through someone's face and another person was brandishing a loaded firearm. This same place was once called javelins then toads where there was also a violent stabbing. These bartenders don't care how drunk they allow you to get as long as they are making tips. Which puts everyone else on the road at risk of a dui or worse a fatal accident. They simply do not care who they hurt whether it be with mean words intentionally meant to hurt someone's feelings or whether the person that couldn't walk without falling down drunk. Worse bar in town with the worse employees. But if you are looking for a place like that. Then like I said. It's the bar for you. Long time customer that will never walk through those doors again
