Ron Wood Family Resource Center

Not very helpful. Just like the first time I went for help.

The people who work for their many departments are extremely knowledgeable and probably the best resource hub in our area.

This is an awesome resource center. Such a great staff, so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

Been to Ron Woods twice I’ve gotten bad food that’s rotten and I get very little for two people when I go there

It’s unfortunate that some individuals get sent here when you have different needs than others in the community. Specifically have asked for gluten free options many times only to be sent away with food that would make me highly sick or even land me in the hospital. At this point it’s beginning to seem like they do not care about allergies or intolerances.

Combat Veteran with 3 children was referred by Nation’s Finest and Reno VA. An application was taken and we were told resources were not available to us. We were then asked to take shelter in a nearby motel, that was paid by myself with rude staff and deplorable conditions. Called back the next morning for additional help and resources and was told they could not assist us with an abrupt disconnect phone call. As I looked over the reviews on this website, I noticed I am one of few people of color that asked for assistance from this place. I cannot help but to think perhaps my skin color played a major part in getting the assistance I desperately needed. I am a combat veteran that fought for this country and I’m truly mortified and disappointed with the outcome I received here. If you are a person of color please do not reach out to this organization. Search elsewhere for assistance.
