Just visited Scoups Ice Cream & Soup in Carson City and it was fantastic! I had a bowl of the Red Pepper Gouda Soup paired with a Gluten-Free Muffin—absolutely delicious and so flavorful. I also tried the Gluten-Free Carrot Cake muffin with Cream Cheese, and everything was not only beautifully presented but tasted incredible. The quality and attention to detail really stand out here. If you’re in Carson City, I highly recommend stopping by Scoups, conveniently located in beautiful downtown Carson City. A true gem!
What a cute establishment. Their ice cream is great. The kids love it. It is super fun with the different flavors and nice to see some flavors rotate on and off the menu. Coming here reminds me of going to Thrifty and getting ice cream with my parents. If you live here or are just visiting, please give this place a try.
Lovely place and owner. Service was great. The Maui waui sherbet hit the spot on a hot day. And I got to sample some clam chowder (aka chowdah 😉) and it passed muster!

We had ice cream and soup. All of it was good but I’m not sure I get the connection. If I come back it will be for soup or ice cream, not both. I was just trying a little of everything but normally don’t like hot and cold items together. Overall the flavors were all good.
I took 16 kids there today and the service was amazing! I did call ahead and warn them but that doesn't change how awesome they were. They helped every kiddo pick a flavor and topping and stuck to my instructions of only one scoop each! It's truly a fun place.
