I’m new to town and work nearby. I was looking for a fast healthy lunch option and as a vegan, between the McDonald’s and BBQ joints, I wasn’t finding much nearby. The Mix came up on a google search so I headed over! Fast friendly and price point is right on for the quality nutrition. Oh and incredibly tasty shake. Very good healthy option for a small lunch! I have been getting the protein bowls for a couple weeks now on/off as little treats for myself after my physical therapy. It picks me up without me feeling badly after, everywhere else in town is really greasy and makes me feel unwell. This place, I know I'm getting something that'll make me feel good! Not to mention, tastes good.Service is fast, and friendly. I get the mango pineapple protein bowl with extra granola, topped with strawberries, bananas and honey. I am lactose intolerant and there isn't a lack of options here either.Wish this place got more business so they could stay open later. I'd love to hit here after my longer school days on campus.

On a hot summers day, when you need the caffeine....this is your place. After your workout, and you need that protein, this is your place. The Mix gives you so many different options other than your typical coffee shop

I have been to the Mix a few times. The first two times were wonderful yummy drinks. Today I went in and ordered a large caramel iced protein coffee. Blah. It was overly sweet and super watered down and didn’t taste or feel like there was any coffee in it. The girl did say she would remake it if I didn’t like it but I didn’t want to be rude so I said it was OK. Won’t be getting coffee there again. What a disappointment for a drink over $10.

First time coming here, great place to go for a little pick me up before or after the gym. Their portions were huge and they have quite an extensive menu. The owners are really friendly. I got the iced Tea that had alternative caffeine in it and a smoothie bowl. Didn't feel jittery after the tea and the smoothie filled me up. The ambience is clean and fresh. Would love it if they used biodegradable containers.

This shop is one of those Herbalife MLM shops. Over priced and definitely not super healthy.Edit: i did not purchase anything because i will not support MLM ‘businesses’ but I have in fact been there and recognized it as an Herbalife seller. This, in my opinion, is a scam.

All I have to say is wow, the place looks awesome. You can tell the owners (summer and jade) took time on the build out to make it look so amazing. Definitely a different look than what Carson city is use to but needed it for sure. The owners and so nice and so knowledgeable when it comes to what they serve and why they serve it in the way they do. Every question I had that had an answer for. I had one of the specialty teas and let me tell you, it was sooooo great I had to tell my friends at work because it was so delicious! I made it a combo meaning I got a specialty shake with my energy tea and the shake was made perfect. It was so thick and creamy and the taste was so great it did not taste like a protein shake at all. Such an awesome experience and I will be a forever customer to them. Thank you Carson city, summer and jade for having a shop where I can get something good for my body!
