It was a bit noisy for conversations. Food was good and service was good, too. Sadly, when I asked about the specials, not all were read to me. Sad as I would have chosen the corned beef hash. Oh well. The Rosti was good.

This is my go to breakfast stop in town! The food here is wonderful, the portions are big and the service is super friendly and fast. Come here more than once and you're pretty much a local. While it is the same Red Hut which the same diner charm and feel as the ones you can find up in Tahoe and Reno (and I've been to them all), this is without question my favorite. Typically, my wife will get a waffle combo and with their amazing bacon that's always cooked perfect and I typically get their Rosti or chicken fried steak and they're so good, I always have a hard time choosing which one to get. Of course, they do have daily specials and if I'm here on a Tuesday, the eggs benedict is outstanding and if I'm here on a Thursday, the corned beef hash cooked with a crispy shell and eggs over medium served with tomato slices is to die for. If you do this, I would highly recommend it with english muffins and eat it all together as an open face sandwich. Of course, lunches here a great too and their burgers are delicious. If you pay with cash and you'll get a discount. I should note that it can get pretty busy on the weekends especially on a Sunday after the crowds get out of church so plan accordingly. If you're a big group, there is a room in the back that can accommodate you as well.

Parking: The parking out front is somewhat limited but here is more along the side as well.

The “Rosti” was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were very good too! You can’t go wrong eating here!!! The employees are wonderful!!!

Here at Carson City on business, saw/read other reviews and thought I'd give it a try AND glad I did!! Place looks like it closed, but dont be fooled by the lights down/low, its open (open sign on). Great service, very attentive, Area is SUPER clean, that coka cola red view brings back the old school. FOOD was freah, really felt home cooking and OMG the pancakes was awesome!! HIGHLY recommend this place and looking forward to try Lunch..
