Tomo Sushi & Grill

I have eaten here at LEAST 15 times since we moved to Tahoe last year! I have tried a lot of sushi places, and this is hands-down the best sushi I've ever had. Not once have I been disappointed by the food here! AYCE is the only way I eat sushi, and it's such a great price here! The salmon is always buttery and amazing. There's plenty of sushi up in Tahoe, but I always drive down to Carson for this place because it's just the best. If I ever move out of the area, I'm genuinely going to be sad to leave Tomo behind.

Good rolls and love the cilantro in mine. Also had the chicken bento and that was good too. Try for yourself but I will be back.

The best sushi ever! My boyfriend and I drive from Sparks just to get sushi here. My personal favorites are the CR7 and Ashley rolls.

Awesome Sushi and service! It was busy when we arrived so we had to wait, but it was worth it. Best Sushi in Carson!! They have common rolls and then some unique rolls as well just as you would expect. Overall it was very good.

Really good sushi all you can eat. I love the chicken teriyaki lunch or dinner too. It’s not a lot of room inside but great food.

Great they're not light on the fish. You get what you pay for.

It used to be much better than it is now. The portions have decreased significantly and the price increased. The rolls are small while any fish on top is thin and narrow. Sometimes the service is great, most of the time it is understaffed and tables are not attended to well. The rainbow roll was incredibly spicy, which was unusual. The menu is usually always the same with a majority of the options being spicy. I’m bummed with the decreasing quality. I will stick to Sumi Sushi from now on, as it’s higher quality and tastes much better, the pricing is also justified with the quality.

Overall disappointing. I order the 6pc dinner sashimi for takeout and the salmon was super fatty… I also ordered a Philly roll and they forgot to put avocado in it…

They have a sign that says if it is your bday and you have 5 people you get your meal for free. We had 6 people and they wouldn't give me the free meal because one of the 6 wasn't an adult. Thats not what the sign says. Then they added a $33.00 gratuity to thr bill. For 5 people? Since the child wasn't considered a person for my free meal but was to add the tip to our bill. Won't be back!

Not wort it wait till Tuesday when kei sushi is open

The service is very slow and they always forget something. They also charge an automatic gratuity of 18%. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. There are much better sushi restaurants in town with better and faster service.
