Wow! Found a real gem in North Carson City. All I can say... it was amazing. Check out the pics! Oh... and the Lamb French-Dip?!?! I was barely walking in the 60's, but we ate at Philippe's in L.A. at least once a month. (Philippe's being the claimed originator of the French-Dip.) Chef Brandon has evolved this dish. AND... the au jus was perfect. Not some BS powder mix.) I will come again.

Nice little French bistro. Good food and friendly staff. Don't let the casual appearance throw you, the food is pretty fancy (albeit expensive). I got the scallops and risotto for the entree, and the bread pudding for dessert

Great food. Great service. The cook Ryan in the back is extremely polite and patient. Fixed me order without hesitation and told us to let him know if there’s anything else we need. He’s also extremely handsome. 10/10 would recommend to everybody.
The owner did a lovely dinner party for pur wedding day. Even though almost half the guest cancelled last minuet we still had a wonderful time, the food was fantastic and the service was lovely. This is our favorite date night place and will now probably be our anniversary dinner date for years to come, we appriciate everything you guys did for us! Thank you!

Z Bistro is absolutely amazing every time we visit. From the drinks and food, to the atmosphere and the staff, Brandon and Alec always welcome you in like you're old friends every time you're there. We went in for dinner for two, and the service was so fast, they were on top of absolutely everything, even while serving a party of 12 at the same time. Thank you guys so much for an amazing food, and all the laughs. We'll definitely be back!

This was a quiet Thursday night dinner out with friends, and it was a delight. This is a nicely appointed bistro, with a seasonal menu that is tasty and interesting, with a well designed wine list featuring many terrific French wines, by the glass or bottle. The food is well prepared, portions are just right and clearly there has been great care in the preparation. The service was relaxed, professional and friendly. We will return, highly recommended. Go out and support your small local restaurants. Z Bistro is a delightful find here in Carson City.
