The food was excellent! Highly recommend Z Bistro. My wife and I enjoyed the apple stuffed pork roast with cranberry sauce. It was as ever bit as good as the cream brulee for desert.The parking is good, and the seating area is casual yet intimate. Noise and laughter from the attached kitchen were somewhat distracting. Overall, I'll definitely go back.

Z Bistro has an excellent menu of fresh, seasonal options. Small but classy, and our server, Alec was knowledgeable and friendly and Chef Brandon is amazing! The bruschetta was absolutely fresh and delicious! They have a nice wine list but we brought our own and they were very accommodating. Cucumber gazpacho was refreshing and full of flavor, creamy with yogurt and avocado. The Cesar salad was a very inventive presentation and had a tasty house made dressing. The main courses of porchetta on a sweet potato/truffle mash and the scallop risotto with a spinach bacon sauce were off the chart! The blackberry crisp was a yummy finish! Definitely do not miss this fantastic dining experience! Affordable and upscale!

So our family, knew chef Brandon from his days in Genoa and took a chance on dinner at his new place in Carson City. Wow, our expectations were exceeded on every level. Great specials, custom made to our tastes. I selected the chicken curry but I asked for it spicy, which they delivered in perfect measure. Their cucumber gazpacho was phenomenally fresh and creamy. Homemade ice cream and blueberry crumble topped off off a fabulous meal. This place is a winner…don’t miss it.
