Located in old downtown Dayton, Odeon Saloon is a must-visit spot for history lovers. The authentic Cornish Pasty's prepared in-house following the strict guidelines of the Cornish Pasties Society's recipe are a hit among visitors, who say they are like those miners would carry in a lunch pail wrapped in a dishtowel. The building itself is very historic, and notable guests like Mark Twain have visited. Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant filmed The Misfits there. The saloon offers a variety of cocktails, including signature drinks like the Picon Punch made by Joanna, and serves Guinness and Cornish pasties that many guests find delicious. With pool, dancing, music, and occasional live performances, the venue provides a lively and fun atmosphere. Although they don't serve food, nearby J's Old Town Bistro offers great Italian cuisine. Overall, Odeon Saloon is a cool place to enjoy a piece of Nevada history and a unique experience.
