Stopped by BJ Bull Bakery for the first time and was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh and flavorful—definitely made with care. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and everyone I interacted with was warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. I’ll absolutely be back!
Got a few pasties for takeout - potato/beef and breakfast (egg/sausage/potato). All were delicious. I would normally expect a potato/beef pastie to use beef steak cubes, rather than hamburger meat, but were very tasty nonetheless. I also got a small pecan pie, which was great. Very friendly and quick staff! There are very few pastie bakeries in the U.S. - I think Minnesota and California.
I’ve been eating here for years. I’m excited about the new ownership and what fresh eyes can do with something that that’s already so great. Looking forward to many more lunches!
