I hosted a baby shower at Cooks yesterday and everything was perfect, I seriously couldn’t ask for a better outcome. Ericka (Owner) was more than accommodating and helpful booking the event and is such a sweetheart. This place left a lasting impression on us! Traveling the I80 we frequently stop in Elko, and being a small town we never in a million years thought we’d find a great steakhouse (no offense meant Elko) but we are really impressed with Cook’s. Just had one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Ordered the Ribeye and the cut was tender and cooked perfect, with flavor. All too often, restaurants thaw and then cook when the cut is still cool from thawing and ends up dry. I always have at least one dinner at Cooks while in Elko and highly recommend. Lunch has been great also and tried the Bison Burger the previous day.
