Great place to relax, and have a nice meal. I stopped here with my dad when we were looking for a spot to eat that wasn't too packed, and this hit the mark. The carne asada burrito was delicious, and the street tacos were flavorful, and very cheap for a great tasting taco. I would really recommend this place if you are looking for a fast and great tasting Mexican meal that is cooked by very nice and friendly people.
Great family operation, traditional food is exceptionally prepared to order and they understand that Customer Service only exists at 100%. During lunch time they give school kids who order a meal free bottle water...also soda, but meh w/e no sense in forcing morality on other people's parenting preferences. Elko is no longer equivalent to gross food. To be fair, I had only eaten in Elko once before but it was so terrible that it gave Elko a bad name (pss, don't go to McAdoo's). Taqueria Ayala is a hole in the wall and there is absolutely nothing fancy about this place but the food and service are just perfect.
