I like going to Los Galos they seem to be the cheapest Mexican restaurant with the best variety on their menu. The atmosphere is usually pretty laid-back not usually very loud. You can always hold a conversation at your table. The weight staff is exceptional. They’re always friendly, recognize familiar faces, or return customers. The food is always good. I’ve never been to Los Galos and been disappointed by the food I have received. It also comes to the table pretty damn quick.

I've eaten here numerous times over the past 4yrs and usually its pretty decent. This past Tuesday. NOT SOO MUCH. Lets start with the FLIES. Flies everywhere! especially in the corner furthest from the entrance closest to the street. Even after moving across the restaurant to the side of the entrance they were bad. There were dead flies floating in the sanitizer? buckets they use for the towels to wipe down the tables. The bus station cart in the opposite corner was stacked with dirty dishes many with dried food and flies! This was at 330 pm hrs after lunch rush and they were still there at 430 when I left. To the food the boiled shredded chicken was a bit off(old) the guacamole was overseasoned compared to the usual and tbh tasted and looked like packaged "Wholly Guacamole" brand that you can buy in the grocery store. the chile Verde (green salsa) had a strong garlic flavor much more than usual. The plates came out EXTREMELY HOT MUCH HOTTER than I have ever seen. the other table also mentioned it out loud as one of the gentleman burned his hand. these were like sizing fajita skillet hot! the chairs, the high chairs and some tables were pretty grimy as well. Its a shame because I've always liked this place but after this...not sure I'll come back.

Good tasting, reasonable prices. Would return when in town. Staff was attentive and friendly! I got the street tacos, which were just okay. Carne asada was tough and not seasoned. I'd try something else next time.
