“Of all the middle of nowhere saloons that my wife and I have visited all across Nevada, Middlegate Station is without question, our absolute favorite! From its rich history to the overall funky feel of the place, we love everything about this place and always make a point to stop in for a whiskey and for really good burgers or a ruben and any time we drive across the Loneliest Highway. I should note, they do also have a motel and we have stayed in it in the past and while they are probably every bit of what you can imagine they'd be like, our room was at least clean and comfortable. Of course, we did come with a bunch of our Jeep friends and had a great time.”

“We didn't get food or stay the night, but we had to stop for an unexpected job interview and the people at the resort were so courteous and helpful. They let me use their Internet and then my wife and I played a game of pool. This place is a wonderful stopping point on the 50.”

“Enjoyed our little date night. We each tried 33 ounce pours of different wines. I really liked the honey tasting one. I can't remember the name of it. It was like bee hunter. The meats, cheeses, and other options paired nicely with the wines I can't wait to go back and try some more wines. They also have a monthly box club. They send you two bottles of wine a month and three different types of cheeses to pair them with that's pretty cool.”

“This is an intimate locals only kind of place, sort of. I live in Reno, but I am in Fallon 5 days a week. This place is located in a livestock action yard, and they have a killer sorce of beef! Their food has a feel of its location, which is a good thing. They make my food exactly the way I want it, which is known by the chef! I have nothing negative to say about this venue at all! Please check it out if you're passing through or live in Fallon. You won't be disappointed!
