I had been wanting to eat here for years, and it did not disappoint, the employees are authentic, fun, and attentive. I originally thought the "Monster Burger" was kind of a gimmick, but holy heck was it delicious. My girlfriend and I split it, and it was worth it. When you're in the middle of nowhere, and you see this place. It is worth the stop for some human interaction and great food.
We LOVE to travel! One day last year while I was doing research for our next vacation, I stumbled across an article about the Middlegate Monster burger and I knew we had to come here someday. We made 2023 our year to visit! Our Nevada vacation started in Vegas, then on to Death Valley Junction, Beatty, Tonopah, Lake Tahoe, then across Nevada on highway 50, the Loneliest Highway in America. Of all the middle of nowhere saloons that my wife and I have visited all across Nevada, Middlegate Station is without question, our absolute favorite! From its rich history to the overall funky feel of the place, we love everything about this place and always make a point to stop in for a whiskey and for really good burgers or a ruben and any time we drive across the Loneliest Highway.
