This was located in the middle of nowhere so it was a much needed pit stop. The place was beyond cute and clean.Food & drinks: We stopped to use the bathroom but stayed to eat at the diner. It just served basics but it was good and was served with a smile. Very friendly.
We love this place for its hospitality, camping and all else. The food is simple but fresh and well executed, the drinks are well made and inexpensive, and the hosts Barbara and George are welcoming as are their employees, family members and other customers. Great place near the old Cold Spring pony express station!

We didn't get food or stay the night, but we had to stop for an unexpected job interview and the people at the resort were so courteous and helpful. They let me use their Internet and then my wife and I played a game of pool. This place is a wonderful stopping point on the 50.
