We didn't get food or stay the night, but we had to stop for an unexpected job interview and the people at the resort were so courteous and helpful. They let me use their Internet and then my wife and I played a game of pool. This place is a wonderful stopping point on the 50.

This was located in the middle of nowhere so it was a much needed pit stop. The place was beyond cute and clean.Food & drinks: We stopped to use the bathroom but stayed to eat at the diner. It just served basics but it was good and was served with a smile. Very friendly.

We love this place for its hospitality, camping and all else. The food is simple but fresh and well executed, the drinks are well made and inexpensive, and the hosts Barbara and George are welcoming as are their employees, family members and other customers. Great place near the old Cold Spring pony express station!

George and Nick are absolute lifesavers. We were empty on engine oil (15w30) and they were able to drive out to us and help us get the car going again. They stayed back and made sure the car started. They also drove behind us for some distance to make sure we didn’t have any immediate trouble.In this very lonesome stretch of highway 50, they didn’t have to do what they did, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were okay.I’m so very grateful for their help and kindness. They are amazing people and based off the rest of the reviews, they bring their integrity to all areas of their business.Thank you for driving out to us and giving us a hand when we needed it. Not many would do the same, especially during a holiday weekend.AAA couldn’t do the same despite our membership. Without George and Nick we would have needed to wait at least another 3 to 6 hours just to see if a service truck could tow us.Thank you again.

Gets the job done for a one night stopover. The water pressure is pretty bad. The folks running the place are nice.Edit: Also, the clothes washer doesn't work. I put a load of laundry through and it came out dirty, so I ran it a 2nd time, and it still came out dirty.

The owners, Barbara and George offer a great place to drink, eat, and spend the night, a true oasis. We have traveled the world and always look for hidden gyms like Cold Springs Station, this one ranks high in all the places we have visited. Saw an incredible moonrise evening of Aug 31 2023.
