Good quality products and friendly staff.
Despite my best efforts to let the staff know of the expired food on the meals ready to eat section by the deli. I continue to find expired meals. Pay attention to the dates if you purchase them. **update** expired food continues to be a problem. Saw spoiling meat. I had to walk out and find something else for lunch. This problem exists and has not been corrected
They always seem to have the most crotchety older women at the self check out line. Asked for some help fixing the wrong price and the older woman with short dark hair seemed so impatient and rushed me saying, "ok, hit finish and pay and get out of here". There's 2 I try to avoid at all costs.
terrible service, lousy quality, very high prices, dirty windows, this is coming from someone who worked for Safeway back in the day, and still owns stock, the store and company sucks--
So quick easy and very friendly, I love shopping here, their bakery 8s especially delicious!
As far as I'm concerned it's the worst place to shop in Fallon Nevada. Store is nice but the employees are extremely rude, I was not ... I interacted with three different employees one in the meat area one at self checkout area and one at the deli all three were extremely rude.
This is the second time that I've had problems with employees at that Safeway I'm never going back there again
Had a bad experience with a Safeway app order. Called the app number and they were of no help. Called the store and talked with a a manager in that area. They listened to what I was saying understood the complaint and corrected the problem in a way that was more than what I expected. Very pleased with the stores response to my complaint.
Do not recommend families with children, or elderly.
Avoid safeway if you can. Local farmers markets. But if you happen to be like most who just need some groceries from the store & end up here, proceed with caution as your grocer might b the most racist rude bigoted person you’ve met that year
Checked out with Jeannie today. 2nd UNCALLED FOR, intense experience with her. I finished shopping here and went to check out my groceries in Jeannie’s checkout lane around 4pm. She did not greet me when I arrived and we exchanged no words whatsoever as she bagged my items, until she seemed upset and started to tell me how my items, including cans and a few glass jars will be too heavy to fit into my large, canvas, reusable grocery bag, obviously built to withstand the weight unlike the plastic bags she’d be offering in return? So as i politely tried to respond and explain it was okay and that they can hold their weight, she grabs the bag and starts shaking it, getting even louder and in a very aggressive and condescending manner continues to say it will be too heavy and won’t fit the groceries, yelling at me as if I am a child who cannot even grasp the concept of weight distribution. I told her still , no it’s fine, then she tells me ‘well then you’ll have to do it yourself’. She then slams my groceries around as my sister and I bag them ourselves, since Jeannie stated she didn’t feel comfortable to. Even if my bags and groceries broke, clearly that wouldn’t be her fault and it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I find it shocking that someone could be so rude and aggressive because of groceries and whether or not they will fit in the bags. Fallon Safeway, where I expect unwarranted aggressive behavior from staff in a less than 5min interaction.
Good to see Safeway in Fallon.

Always clean. Prices do tend to be higher than prices at Safeway in reno. I suppose they feel they can take advantage of the fact most people won't drive an hour each way for groceries.
I was treated terrible this morning in the floral department.
Prices are pretty steep sometimes. But with the Safeway app it make things a lot cheaper the fruit is always a very good quality along with their seafood. The pre cooked foods are the best in town albeit a bit expensive.
In the last five years I have really come to love the Safeway shopping center in Fallon, Nevada. When I arrive I marvel at how clean the parking lot and store entrance remains. The store has a florist, dispensing water machines (bring your jug), and a Starbucks outlet. The local Safeway sales sheet is mailed to our house weekly and I receive the sales data and coupons by email in time to apply them. It's good to have a cashier register and a self checkout register with a cashier standing by. The store has a wide variety of seasonal products that change as the Seasons move along during the Year. The plan is Safeway has what We use and need. Of course the operations is supplied with the food, milk, veges and fruits, meats, spices, canned foods, you know it's a food market. You'll like, try it.
All cashiers were closed. Self checkout only. Refused to sell 7 items at Customer Service. I abandoned my shopping cart.
