The food is good but they treat their staff HORRIBLY. I will not give a place that does this my money. Shame on you- they’re teenagers!

Yah it wasn't great, the greasiest Canadian bacon with canned pineapple & canned mushrooms I've ever had. The beer wasn't warm but not what I'd call cold. The staff wasn't jumping but they were doing their best.

Wilted lettuce salad, actually rotten , slimy brown pieces served in the Italian salad. Server actually saw on a napkin and went to tell the kitchen and still charged full price. Pizza was ok.

We stopped in on our way through Gardnerville. First time we had been to Mike’s Pizza. We wanted to just sit and enjoy some pizza before we had to get back on the road. When we walked in we were immediately directed to the counter to order because we didn’t know any better. We were directed to a “to go” counter. We waited for our pizza and when it was ready we went to Open the pizza box at our table and eat. We were immediately stopped by a worker and told we couldn’t do that. We asked why. They said because your pizza is to go. We said- actually, no- we were directed to that counter (pointing to the pickup counter) and never asked anything- they simply directed us to the counter when all we wanted to do was sit and eat before getting on the road. They said we would have had to be seated on the opposite side of the restaurant where we were sitting. We asked if we could please move the over to the restaurant side and they said no - that the owner had a strict policy about this. Okay, can we go to the other side and order a new pizza. They said no- that they had strict rules about that. We informed them this was our first time at this pizza place and had no idea. They said we had to take our pizza and leave. They directed us to tables outside where yellow jackets were swarming around our outside table and my son got stung on his calve. Then we had to run to cvs for Benadryl. The pizza was mediocre, the service and treatment was horrible and I would NOT recommend this pizza place to anyone traveling through Gardnerville. Just don’t do it. They made us feel like we were bad people for not It knowing how their pizza place works and that if you want to sit and eat then apparently someone has to seat you- how were we supposed to know that? Before we could even figure it out we were immediately directed to the “to go”
counter upon entering the restaurant. WOULDN’T HAVE THAT BEEN GREAT IF SOMEONE HAD ASKED US WHEN WE WALKED IN if we were dining in? Horrible experience.

Waited about 15 mins before anyone came to the counter. Finally asked if I was being help, told them not yet. She got a frustrated look at her staff. Food was alright, very greasy.

We like to end little trips and excursions with a "mom n pop" type pizza place if we can. Tonight we chose Chicago Mikes and it didn't disappoint. Probably the best pizza we have had in a long time. We got 2 deep dish and our eyes were much larger than our stomachs!

Last week, for the first time ever, I tried this light, fluffy, crispy, buttery indulgence known as a Chicago Mike's deep dish.
The crust was otherworldly. Great sauce, slightly charred and delicious meats, and fresh pineapple.
Pizza pie perfection.
What an excellent pizza experience! From the classic drink cups to the fresh, delicious and generous caesar salad, to the thin crust and deep dish pizzas - all were perfect. We ordered three piping hot, freshly made pizzas - two veg, and one pep/sausage and pineapple. So tasty. Friendly service, too! They also deliver now. 10/10 will be back again.

Ordered chicago style pizza, hot wings, chicago dog, and Italian salad. Everything was awesome! Delicious, hot, our waitress was excellent and attentive. Can't believe we've lived here for 12 years and never tried it before?, very embarrassing. Now that we've tried it, we will DEFINITELY go back to try more!
