“I had such a great experience with Pronto Pizza today and wanted to give a shoutout to Nolan. I called to place a delivery order but realized mid-call that my wallet was in my husband’s truck, so I had to hang up and call him to get my card info. When I called back, Nolan was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding throughout the whole situation, which I really appreciated.

The pizza is always a 10/10, service can be spotty at times- but today the customer service truly stood out. Thank you, Nolan, for going above and beyond!”

“Iggy & Squiggy’s Junction Bar & Grill was such a fun stop. We loved that the combo includes a burger, chips, and a beer or soda—of course, we went with the beer.

It has that great little dive-bar-and-grill feel, with friendly service, fresh food, and an ice-cold beer served in a frosty mug. The soft serve also looked tempting, and they had quite a few flavors to choose from.

One important thing to know: it is cash only. They do have an ATM, but bring cash if you want to avoid the fees.

“I’m so excited that JJ’s is open again! I have missed their chili rellenos and chicken tacos. The best, most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s nice to enjoy a meal in a family atmosphere. I highly recommend them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. ❤️”

“The food was really good! Everything we tried was hot, fresh, and well-stocked, even though the restaurant was busy. Service was a little slow with drink refills, but that was understandable given how crowded it was.

The air conditioning had also just gone down, so it was pretty warm inside. That seemed like an unexpected issue rather than something I would hold against them, though I definitely felt bad for the chefs working in the heat.

Overall, we had a good experience and would return.”

“It’s an absolute CRIME that we were the only people in Flame of India Restaurant right now. The food is absolutely delicious. We got garlic naan, tandoori chicken, goat curry, rice and chicken saag. I wish this place was packed. This is one of the best Indian cuisine meals I’ve ever had.”

“The Patio in Gardnerville is a 10/10 location and experience. The woman working on 6/12 was incredibly kind and very helpful, making sure everyone had access to water on such a hot, sunny day!

“American diner right off the 395 in the middle of a casino. Food was good diner style grub. Chicken fried steak was fresh and something like a specialty of the house. View of the lake was great. Fresh pie in a specialty display. Truly a little slice of roadtrip Americana.”

The flavors are always on point, and I love how they use fresh ingredients to make each sandwich a delight. “The restaurant had a cool, old timey vibe at first glance. Upon further examination it appeared to be ill maintained. The floors were popping, the laminate on the tables were peeling up, stuff like that. Then we were sat at a table that had a door next to it that was closed. Seemed OK at first, but then immediately after sitting down the doors were propped open so we had nothing but hot air blowing on us and the band that was outside was so loud that we couldn't hear the conversations between each other. I ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer that were supposed to be stuffed with either crab or shrimp, I can't remember, regardless they came out stuffed with sausage. I was very disappointed. Then I ordered their 12 spice chicken with mango jam and it was served with a pineapple pico de gallo instead. Again, very disappointed. My father's food was not cooked to his preferred temperature. Service was slow but possibly understaffed and the kitchen seemed to be struggling. Food didn't taste bad and the service wasn't horrible but both leave something to be desired. Hostess was pleasant.”
