The sign outside the restaurant says seating is limited, unsure why. Food is a little pricey but if you’re staying there, it’s convenient, and not bad. More veggie options would be great. In general the Holiday Inn David Walley Resort is a shadow of its former self. You get the sense that they are inadequately staffed everywhere you look. The grounds are unkempt, garbage cans were at the max, yet the location against the backdrop is beautiful. On a positive note, all the spas were functioning and clean - and for a spa, that matters.“

“This place is SO good, owned by a wonderful family. We ordered a little of everything - French toast, steak, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pineapple mimosas, Machaca burrito, pavement scraper, the no-brainer, hot chocolate. SO good! The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had. The gravy on the biscuits is great! The place itself is so homey and the staff is incredible. Go here!!“

“Let me start off by saying the food is amazing at Cocos N Moe's. They definitely have a home cooking feel, and everything we ordered came in a huge quantity. The service at Cocos was excellent, and we were there on a Saturday morning. The chef, his wife, and the server we had were all extremely friendly. Definitely check out Cocos N Moe's and enjoy!!!“

“1 Kick Butt kind of place! We went for lunch, I had heard that they Were the winners of the best hamburger in carson valley for multiple years. One thing that intrigued me is that they were claiming that their onion rings were all from scratch in their french fries and their potato chips. Diana got the potato chips, I got the Onion Rings. Both were Awesome ? She had the hot Sicilian sandwhich I tried. Is the black and blue bacon Hamburger. Everything was excellent.The service she was right on and quite a character. Portions We're just right in there size, No need for Take home leftovers.... The interior was a kick!

“Stopped into this local watering hole while traveling through the charming town of Minden. I enjoyed an IPA on tap as well as a spinach-garlic pizza (made fresh to order). Beer and pizza were very good. Service was very friendly and although I am not a local, I was treated like ‘a regular.’ Atmosphere is ‘old-school’ casual. Location is right in the heart of historic (downtown) Minden.“

“We ate at Cook's while on vacation...and it was simply amazing! Our food was delicious, the restaurant was immaculate, and the service was excellent. They went above and beyond to make things right when my daughter didn't like what she was originally served. I highly recommend this "gem" of a place. They're the best!“
