“EVERY time I visit NV, I make it a point to stop by Woodett's! For years and years they have been a consistent favorite of mine, and just when I think they can't get any better, somehow they do! My trips to NV aren't frequent, but the long term staff even remembered me. The food is SO delicious, decently priced, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming. Make Woodett's a stop if you're anywhere in or around NV - you won't regret it!“
“Joanna treated me to an early dinner at the JT Basque restaurant in Gardnerville, Nevada. Joanna had chicken and I had lamb chops. But first the waitress brought out soup and bread. And then a simple lettuce salad with oil and vinegar dressing, which I loved! And then beans and lamb stew, which was tender and tasty. The sides are brought out family style and you get what you want. I paced myself because I knew more food was coming. Finally, lamb chops with roasted mushrooms and garlic. Delicious! I told Joanna about the Basque people from an area in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain who had a unique culture and language. They emigrated to the US in the 1800s and herded sheep in western Nevada and the Sierra Nevada mountains.“
“We have been coming to Sonneys for trivia night for the last 2 months and everything has been on point! Service is top notch and everyone is so friendly. The food does not disappoint at all. The Corn chowder is the best soup in the valley. I have yet to eat something I didn't like. If you haven't been you gotta go!“
“Went there for Valentine's Day, and the food was fantastic! My boyfriend had the ribeye steak and it was perfectly cooked! I had the filet mignon with shrimp scampi. All very delicious! Side dishes are delicious and very hearty, we took home the leftovers and ate it for lunch the next day! Ambiance is very nice for a date night! Service superb!“
“Love this place...good portions....warm food always so far. All they need to do....is really change the carpet! It's pretty dirty, and beyond cleaning at this stage. They fixed the melted sign on the outside of the building. I would have rather them change the carpet.Over all....we enjoy making the trip 30 minutes to eat there.Parking: It's on the corner of two streets....so be careful pulling in and out. A tail gater will for sure hit you if they are not paying attention.“
“The fries are really bad but literally everything else is amazing. They have the best pizza in town, and the entire sandwich menu is almost worth killing someone for. The waiters are nice, the place feels like a the small local restaurant that makes really good food, that’s the atmosphere, it’s great.“

“We tried the new Coco's n Moe's this morning - pulled pork Chipotle Benedict and Traditional Benedict. Both were excellent, decor was really nice, and service was great. Only critique was that the potatoes were a little bit cool on the outside - otherwise a very, very nice experience. Will definitely be back there.“
“Went there today for the first time and it was great. You can look out the window and see the great little planes. The menu is large and service great. My friend had the grilled chicken with some kind of cheese and a salad I just had a dinner salad that was full of good stuff and a bagel with cream cheese . Highly recommend“
“My first time and I ordered the patty melt on sourdough special. It was pretty tasty and spot on. I ordered the sidewinder potatoes as well and those were also good. Could use a little bit better beer selection, but overall I would go back.“
“The food and drinks are good, but the service is incredible! My family and I enjoyed some drinks and lunch out front, and the bartender checked on us several times with the most pleasant conversations, AND was incredibly accommodating to our cranky a** toddler. At the time, the owner was selling and opening a new restaurant in South Lake Tahoe near my home, but that fell through, so I was surprised to find him and his son still here.He makes his own fries, which are AMAZING, as is the coleslaw, and I’m a slaw snob.My next door neighbor had the Rueben and loved it. She’ll definitely come back with her family as will I.Please support this family owned business. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Just the cutest little place! It’s like sitting in a friend’s old house that’s warm and inviting, but still decorated in an interesting old style! Staff is kind and the food is so good! Probably one of the better cocktail spots in the valley to boot! Summer on the patio with a pizza is always fun!“
“Excited to try the new location . I was surprised to see Detroit style pizza offered on the menu. I'm originally from the Detroit area and have eaten at Buddy's Pizza several times. Buddy's originated Detroit style pizza. I must say Great Basin's pizza is the next best thing to being at Buddy's. The market featuring local meats and other items is a great feature. My only disappointment is the place is so loud (bad acoustics) that it's difficult to have a conversation. Looking forward to warmer weather to take advantage of the large outdoor seating with views of the Sierra.“
