FINALLY had a chance to sit down & have a meal here. Have been in many times for a cocktail (picons are amazing - thank you Etienne & Greta) and love the atmosphere, the history, the staff but this was our first time eating there. The reviews say it all - it was FANTASTIC. We had the Basque steak & lamb chops - both were cooked perfectly, the bread & wine were amazing & service impeccable. We will be back.
An impressive steak sandwich and a bowl of soup and salad adorned our table and filled our tummies with delight. Fabulous meal in a nostalgic setting with friendly service. Thank you.
Can't go wrong with the best Basque food and great staff! We landed there right when a very large group was lined up to eat, and the place was packed. But they squeezed us in, and wasted no time in getting us set up with drinks and food. It was all delicious and fun!!
