The food is good; especially if you ask for the habanero sauce, the service is very good.

Happened to be traveling through the area and stoped for lunch. The service was fantastic and couldn't believe the quantity of food. Virtually everything was delicious (cheese enchilada wasn't worth it). Prices were amazing - we left stuffed for $38. I doused everything in their home made Serrano salsa/hot sauce, which was very tasty. Chicken taco's were great as was the shrimp tostada and the chili relleno. The guac was mostly avocado - not salsa with a little avo.
We'll stop here again if we're back in the area.

Don't get me wrong, the service was amazing. But that's where I have to say these 2 stars come from. I ordered enchiladas and beans. Man was I disappointed. The beans were SO bland that the chile I put on them didn't even help. I'd suggest using some Manteca or some other kind of lard to fry them. The enchilada sauce. So watery. It didn't seem like it was made with any flour. It was somewhat vinegary but tomatoey. I can't explain it but it definitely didn't taste like it had any chile powder or cumin. IDK, just wasn't what I'm used to I guess. And the cheese in the enchiladas.... not even melted! That was a big no for me too.

My wife and I found this little Mexican restaurant in Gardnerville Nevada. It is not the most fanciest place. However, the food was great, and they had real hot sauce that I loved. You do have to ask for it. It’s a habanero hot sauce is what I like. I had margarita it was also very tasty. My wife was very happy with what she had and they had some hot sauce that she loved as well. Really nice people the place was clean. The service was great. So far here in Nevada where I live this is my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Best authentic Mexican food in the valley. The business is family owned and operated. Very friendly and if you go more than a couple times the staff recognizes you and treats you right.
