We have stopped in Hawthorne several times in the past, as it is right in the middle of our home and Vegas. We had a bad meal at the local casino the last time so we decided to try Pepper's Place. A funky, old building, but the folks inside couldn't have been nicer. The portions of the food are huge. I had the Patty Melt and didn't realize that it came with two large patties. Hands down the BEST food I’ve ever had! I ate there every day during AFD weekend, and every single meal was amazing. The flavors were on point, the prices were unbeatable, and the whole vibe was just perfect. If you're anywhere near, do yourself a favor and stop by Peppers Place does not miss!
Great bacon cheeseburger. Good fries. A little cold sitting outside on the coldest of winter days (which isn't all that cold to this former Minnesotan) but the cover is effective for capturing the sun's warmth. Glad we stopped!
