One of the better local foods in Las Vegas. We live out in Henderson and this is our go to for local grinds. Our favorite is their garlic chicken!

This is more like 2.5. Food is average at best, dry like meats under a lamp and def over priced. Even in this time when everything overpriced. Young women working here were not necessarily outright hostile but had attitudes

Second visit to the 9th Island Grill, and we were much happier than our first visit! Still got carry out food, but much happier with the choices and results! The staff continues to be amazing - friendly and helpful! This time we tried the Garlic chicken plate - crispy and very tasty. The garlic sauce can be a little sweet for our taste, but the chicken itself was great; and the extra crispy chicken skin makes this dish! Also got the Loco Moco - the eggs don't travel great all the way home, but the dish is very tasty and serving size is huge! Lastly we tried the Tonkatau Ramen - this was good even taking it home! Definitely have more dishes we want to try, but the service and food we reckon this trip makes us want to go back soon!

Food was ONOLICIOUS ? had won ton min, fried rice, teriyaki bf plate, chicken katsu and Loco moco...right on point ????service was fast, customer service was awesome! I would recommend and will be back to eat again!!!

i came in here recently and I was just amazed. the friendly counter service, the atmosphere, and the the deliciousness of the food was just spot on in every aspect. i had the chicken katsu and it was very delicious. 10/10! would highly recommend to others

Overall I liked their food and the service was fast. The chicken katsu was crispy and moist, the bbq beef was good but a little tough. Macaroni salad was great.
A decent spot if you want a quick and cheap meal. The portions are pretty good for the price you pay. I ordered the garlic chicken plate. It comes with 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and a good amount of boneless fried chicken. The fried chicken was just okay. Not sure if it was overly fried but it was a bit difficult to cut with the plastic knife. The chicken itself was bland. Luckily there was enough sauce to save it. Service is good. Interior is nice and clean. Maybe I'll give it another try and order something else next time.

Bruuh it doesnt even deserve a star. Wtf is this place. Should have listened to the 1 star comments. Avoid this place. Shitty food and shitty service. The girls working dont look like they give a f. The rice is not even cooked correctly. I mean how do you f up on rice??? The protein was mehh. Nothing deserves a star at all. Wanted to give this place a chance but no uh. Places like this need to burn to the ground. What a waste of an investment and my money. Never coming back

We've been going there for a while. The food is great. I noticed the other day that there must have been a turnover of employees.The food is still great but the dining room was dirty from the floor up. The floor hadn't looked like it had been swept in days. There was dust and food on the floor. The tables needed to be wiped down. We had to wipe our own. The beverage area was also unkept. There were spills on the counter and straw wrappers in the counter and floor.We were there around 3:00 in the afternoon. It wasn't busy and the employees were hanging around chatting.I had started out my review with 4 stars but changed it to 3 because as I'm writing I'm thinking we shouldn't have stayed. We stayed because the food is good and planned to meet with other people there. I hope the kitchen was in better shape.
