“I had the hot stone experience with beef. It was very good seasoned well. The meat was just a little tough not much. The service was good considering that our server Alex was by herself but it didn’t stop her from being exceptional. It took longer to take our but we were enjoying ourselves so we didn’t care because atmosphere was great. I would recommend this place especially for a girls night out.”

It’s hard to pick a favorite dish as I haven’t tried one thing that was bad- you can truly choose anything here and will be impressed! The food always feels fresh and their cocktails are great as well. The food portions make sure you leave full without having too much and the price is very reasonable. Even my very non-vegan brother likes eating here.”

“Spectacular does not even come close to covering how absolutely amazing this place is. We saw them on TicTok and traveled from Indianapolis to try them and they did not disappoint! I had the short rib in mole and I can say after eating it, I can die a happy woman. The layering of flavors is a Fiesta on your taste buds. “Ok. We have been to Vegas quite a few times, and over the years, this place has gotten larger and larger. The food choices have expanded, and not necessarily the quality has improved. So when we come here, it's always a struggle to find a great local area off the strip that serves honest to goodness heartfelt food. The strip has glitz and lights and abundance, also at a cost ranging from 20 to 60 bucks per person for breakfast. So we lucked out finding this place. Wow. Amazing amazing croissants, the granola and parfaits are outstanding, and the prices are super super reasonable for what you get nowadays. A few people came in, and the staff were attentive and knew the names of some who i Imagine were regulars. The staff were so helpful with the drinks. Vanilla latte and matcha latte that the staff/owner helped customize the order to our desired sweetness. Some great latte artwork as well. I can definitely say this place is a hidden gem off the strip and well worth a short 15 min trip from the strip. They have 2 locations. One that opened in 2009 and the one we were at in henderson opened 3 yrs ago. Outstanding!!”

“All I have to say is that this is the best sandwich I have ever had. The bread was so fresh. My wife got the Brie cranberry turkey sandwich and it tasted just like that left over thanksgiving sandwich you make the week after thanksgiving! I got the pesto chicken and sundried tomato sandwich and it was perfect. The salad that accompanied the sandwiches was good too! Not too overly dressed. Just enough to fill us up for lunch. We got to try their chocolate chip cookies as well. Crunchy at the edges and soft in the middle. I wish we had one on the east coast!!!”

“I have been going to Roma Kitchen since its beginnings with chef Pierro,. What a great talent he was, and he shared his creativity and delicious recipes with Manny and his crew which, fortunately, for us, continues on after his death. The food is delicious but it isn’t the only reason which takes me there. It is a server named Dominic who’s one of the finest servers I’ve had. He’s very conscientious and gracious about his work and makes sure you have a pleasurable dining experience. Dominic is also a sommelier which will add to a fine wine selection if one is inclined, Of course, all of the above: good food, knowledge, graciousness and a desire to please customers can add up to a fine evening of dining.

“I went here twice while staying at the Hilton nearby- once for lunch and once for dinner. The food and service were great! It was a very quaint atmosphere, the food came quickly, and it was outstanding quality and presentation. It was a very short and convenient walk from the hotel to the restraunt, and the shops village really allowed us to not need to leave the resort area if we didn't want to and gave us more time to relax. If you're not staying at the hotel, there is a parking deck that offers free parking. Would absolutely go here again!

“I am very picky about Clam Chowder. Have gotten it all over the USA. This clam chowder is the BEST I have ever had. Full of clams and wonderful flavor. They make it daily.
The wedge salad was delicious and big enough to share. I didn’t share my chowder though!!!”

“This restaurant is located inside the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa. It was close to where I was staying, and I was looking for small bites and appetizers while indulging in happy hour drinks. We had reservations, so we were seated fairly quickly. I wore business casual attire.

The service was quick, which I really appreciated. However, the food was not hot, or even warm. I'm not sure if they pre-prepare dishes based on popular menu items that are likely to be ordered, but I found the food to be somewhat disappointing. I didn't mention it to the waiter because, to be honest, we were enjoying the happy hour the prices, and I didn’t think it was worth making a big deal out of it.

The lobster roll was probably the tastiest item we tried, while my least favorite was the fried shrimp, which tasted heavily of oil with a hint of lemon. The waiter was pleasant and attentive, and she recommended a pear drink that wasn't on the menu, which turned out to be a great choice.”

“Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I was impressed with the atmosphere. Really clean and pretty inside. They had a live singer as well. Everything we got to eat was delicious and portions sizes were excellent! I got the risotto with scallops and my husband got the short rib sandwich. We couldn’t believe how big the sandwich was and had to bring half of it home. I was also impressed with the kids food. Generally the kids food is an afterthought but the quality of the burger and pizza were on par with an adult entree. Service was great! We will be back!

Kid-friendliness: Separate kids menu, good noise level to not have to keep kiddos too quiet, plastic kids cups is always nice, our server asked if we would like the kids food out when it’s ready or if we wanted everything to come out together. Little things that mean a lot for parents.”

“My wife is the manager of the Port of Subs about 50 yards from the front door. For 4 years we've kept saying, Giuseppe's must be good. Parking lot is always full 24/7. We've got to go in one day. Well, last night was our first time there and I'm here to tell you that this place is AMAZING! Everything from the decor to the way the tables are presented, the staff and of course the food! The gravy(red sauce) is hands down the best! The prices are quite reasonable for the portions you get. They are huge! The appetizer was amazing as well. My wife had the chicken Parm and I had the rigatoni Italiano. Also the California flat bread. This place is by far the best Italian in the city! Will be coming back again very soon.”

The bar has a cool round design, with a gold bracelet ceiling, jewel-like hanging chandeliers, and panoramic views of the casino floors. The service was friendly and attentive, and they also has a variety of other hand-crafted cocktails, as well as premium spirits and bar-top gaming. The small dining room is always immaculate and the staff is very friendly. I've been to this part of the world, so I get it. If you like delicious authentic Thai, you must try Mama Pam. It's tucked away in a small strip mall just North of La Bonita store & Sunset Rd. Easy parking. I guarantee you'll be back!”

They also have other non hot dog options such as loaded french fries there were surprisingly good. It was definitely unexpected as I didn’t realize just how extensive their hot dog menu is. When I tell you, the sauces were better than anything that you can get in abottle, I am putting it mildly. The food was hot, fresh, and on point. Flavors are on point, whenever I get the craving for Poke, this is my go to! It's a point and go kinda place, no sit down area, but why where you can enjoy at home or a day at the lake! If you don't see something in the case, no worries, just ask and they make em fresh in the back. Keep in mind they are closed on Wednesdays, so plan accordingly ? ?

“AWESOME!! Went in Black Bear and talked to the manager Geoff Cragin. Asked him if he could make a wish come true for our Grandmother who is turning 85 . Told him I have 20 people . Her kids, grandkids and Great Grandkids that want to help her Celebrate her Birthday. He said , I’m going to make this happen for you. They don’t take reservations and it’s first come that are waiting. I’m coming in a half hour early to let him know we’re coming and he will do everything possible to get it done. AWESOME”

“The collard greens are on point! Brisket and ribs were over done. I was there around 6pm, so that could've been a factor. Corn bread was dry. Cole slaw was canned slaw with an apple slice in it. If I go back, it will have to be earlier in the day”

“North Italia offers some interesting spins on classic dishes. Last night we enjoyed the spicy rigatoni vodka which wasn't as creamy as a traditional vodka sauce, but had a nice kick to it. The addition of mushrooms, sausage and pancetta gave it extra heartiness. The butternut squash polenta was a pleasant surprise. We could have just made a meal out of a bunch of small plates such as the burrata and grilled bread, the seasonal squash and creamy polenta which made a great combination and the cacio e pepe arancini with creamy pesto sauce was also delicious. The chocolate budino took forever to come out but it was worth the wait. The service was friendly and the vibe was energetic. North Italia is a welcome addition to GVR.”
