“This was my second time coming to Jours Bakery and umm I liked it. It's a bit overpriced but I know the ingredients are good so the pricing is understandable. It's also not very sweet which is good. A big variety of sweet pastries and savory. Just one thing I won't get again is the chocolate milk it tasted very watery.“

“I’ve been here a handful of times now, and it’s quickly become my favorite place to get matcha.

The first time I stopped in, I was actually there to check out the trinket box, but I was curious about their matcha too. I ordered the Just a Matcha Latte with lavender syrup, aloe vera jelly, and oat milk. I also like that you can substitute whichever milk you prefer. One thing I thought was really cool was that they whisk the ceremonial-grade matcha traditionally with a chawan and chasen instead of just mixing it. You can tell they actually put care into making the drinks.

I ended up ordering that same drink two more times because I liked it so much, and it was consistent every time. I also tried it with vanilla syrup, which was good too.

My favorite combination, though, has been the rose syrup with aloe vera jelly. I noticed rose wasn’t listed as an option on DoorDash today, so I called to ask if it was possible to substitute it. The employee who answered was really kind and told me to leave a note on my order so she’d know which drink it was. When it arrived, it was made exactly how I asked. I really appreciated that they were willing to accommodate something so simple instead of just saying no. They even added dried rose petals on top, which was a nice touch.

My friend ordered the Strawberry Matcha with strawberry cold foam. I tried a sip, and it was good, just a little sweeter than I personally like.

The shop itself is another reason I keep coming back. It’s bright, clean, and has plenty of space to sit. They have shelves of manga, board games like Jenga, Apples to Apples, and Uno, plus a photo booth. It makes it feel like a place where you can actually hang out instead of just grabbing your drink and leaving.

The only downside for me is the price. My drink usually comes out to around $10 before tip, so it’s definitely an occasional treat rather than an everyday stop. But for me, the quality, consistency, and atmosphere make it worth it.

Overall, every drink I’ve had has been consistently good, and every employee I’ve interacted with has been friendly. I’ll definitely keep coming back“

“I will stack this up to Growing Pains. when it's 48° outside, I expect the inside of a restaurant to be warm, this was not the case. please turn up the heat! secondly, when you ask me how I want my eggs and I reply over easy and when they come, they are sunny side up with the waitress telling me when I say this isn't correct, this is how the cook makes them, at which point I send them back, you have a training issue here. the price here are typical Lake Las Vegas, so I expect more than a typical restaurant.“

“I just want to take a moment to publicly recognize Judy and her manager, Hailey (I hope I spelled your name correctly!), for being incredibly kind, considerate, compassionate, and patient with me this morning.

I was a customer in the drive-thru, and for some reason, my card just would not work. I checked my account and knew the funds were there, and I come to this Starbucks location often, so I honestly had no idea what was going on.

I started getting nervous because I don’t like feeling as though I’m holding up a line, especially in the morning when things can get busy and everyone is trying to grab their coffee and breakfast before getting on with their day.

But through all of that, Judy remained patient with me and helped me stay calm. Then, to my complete surprise, she gave me my coffee and croissant at no charge.

She absolutely did not have to do that, and I wasn’t expecting it at all. But what touched me most wasn’t receiving my order for free. It was the compassion and kindness she showed me in a moment when I was already feeling flustered. That kind of kindness goes a very long way.

I also believe excellent customer service like that can be a reflection of good leadership, so I want to recognize her manager, Hailey, as well. When employees feel empowered to treat people with patience, dignity, and genuine care, that says something meaningful about the environment being created within that location.

Judy and Hailey, I truly hope you both see this. I prayed this morning that God would bless you both for the kindness you showed me. I also prayed that He would bless every employee working at that Starbucks, every person waiting in that drive-thru, every person who walked through those doors, and every single person being served and cared for by your team throughout the day.

May God bless the work of your hands, return the kindness you give to others back to you, and allow the compassion you show, even in moments that may seem small, to continue making a difference in people’s lives.
