I've had the chicken pot pie and fish and chips in the past, and both are tasty. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and liked it and says he no longer gets the French Dip as the last 2 times it has been quite dry. I dine here maybe 4 to 6 times a year. My other friend had a patty melt and enjoyed it and would order it again.”

Driving to the place, I was surprised how isolated it is, which is a good thing if you're looking to get away from the chaos of downtown. This place specializes in a quality selection of beer and very pleasant service. They have a full range of styles, from trendy to traditional to experimental (never had a beer with cucumber or habanero before...and it was good!). Was fun to try several in flight form. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth the trip if you're a beer fan!”

Even the ticket that was on the bag showed 4 extra ranch dressings. Otherwise the food was really delicious but the fries would have been even better with the ranch dressing. I came for the “happy hour” discount, and this part isn’t the staff’s fault at all, but Carl’s… if this is your happy hour, I’m not very happy. Onion rings, a large fountain drink, and the cheapest spicy chicken sandwich came out to $10.45. Compared to places like Church’s Chicken, where I recently got 3 big pieces of chicken, a full side, and a drink for slightly less, this just doesn’t feel like much of a deal.

Carl’s, get it together. No one should order “happy hour” items and still feel like they paid regular price for less food.

PS: The door slams HARD and caught my ankle. Hurt like hell, so be careful. (That’s why 1 star off.)”

Anyway I got the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu combo. The teriyaki chicken was better than you standard Ohana, L&L, and makai grill. Most of the time you get deboned thigh that tastes boiled and tossed on the grill to heat up. This was actually grilled. The katsu was a nice light breading with nice big pieces of chicken not pounded out thin chicken with all breading. Full disclosure the Mac salad was mediocre. It’s sad cause it’s so simple to make. Seems like they didn’t use Apple cider vinegar or maybe they cheaped out on best foods mayo? Worth it though. Only thing I would add is toss a shoyu packet in”

“I recently visited Five Guys and had a small issue at first — my fries were not fresh. However, what truly stood out was how “Teo”handled it in this location. When I brought it to his attention, he immediately replaced them with two fresh portions that were absolutely delicious, and he even gave us a $10 gift card to come back.

That level of customer care is rare. The service was excellent from start to finish, and as always, the burgers were amazing.

It’s refreshing to see a place that genuinely cares about its customers and takes responsibility without hesitation. That’s exactly why Five Guys is number one in my book — they don’t leave anything unfinished and always make things right.

“I’ve been to every Yama location in town, but this one is the MVP. It’s the biggest, it’s open late, and the service is always efficient. Yama Sushi on Spring Mountain is not just a sushi restaurant - it’s a core memory. This was my first sushi spot when I moved to Vegas over 10 years ago, and since then, it’s been the site of raucous birthday parties, flirtatious dinner dates, and probably 50 pounds of salmon nigiri personally devoured. And if you’re planning a birthday dinner, this place is a great option because they have big tables and when everyone gets the same all you can eat deal, sharing rolls and splitting the bill is super easy.”

“Bad Ass Coffee is a great spot if you’re looking for quality coffee on the go. It’s not a place to sit and hang out, it’s more of a quick stop where you order, grab your drink, and keep it moving, which actually makes it super convenient.

The flavors are really good and well balanced. I tried the “Three Waves” and it was honestly excellent, smooth, rich, and full of flavor. One thing that really stands out is that their ice is made from coffee, so your drink never gets watered down and keeps that strong taste all the way through.

I also had the chance to talk to the owner, and you can tell right away he’s a great person who truly cares about his business and customers. The service was top tier and very welcoming.

If you want something quick, different, and high quality, Bad Ass Coffee definitely delivers.”

I asked them to put a little ribbon on a box for my husband’s birthday and they were more than happy to help.

My only suggestion is that I wish they’d have at least a one table and chair, or a couch there to just sit and enjoy the desserts. Yes, I know, it’s probably take out only. But when I get off work, I just want to sit inside and enjoy the cookie before getting back in my car (especially when it’s extremely hot in my car, and I just want to sit away from the Vegas heat)
