“So I live in southern highlands but have never been to this place. I wasn’t expecting much especially since I ordered through uber and the prices were kinda ridiculous. Anyway I got the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu combo. The teriyaki chicken was better than you standard Ohana, L&L, and makai grill. Most of the time you get deboned thigh that tastes boiled and tossed on the grill to heat up. This was actually grilled. The katsu was a nice light breading with nice big pieces of chicken not pounded out thin chicken with all breading. Full disclosure the Mac salad was mediocre. It’s sad cause it’s so simple to make. Seems like they didn’t use Apple cider vinegar or maybe they cheaped out on best foods mayo? Worth it though. Only thing I would add is toss a shoyu packet in“

“I have been dining at this quaint cozy restaurant for over 25 years. They are soo inexpensive that you could practically feed your entire family of four of five members for under $60.00. That is actually a steal. Their teriyaki chicken bowl is humongous and only for $6.00. I always order the spam musibis for my kids for under $4.00. Not gonna lie…was super confused where I was rolling up to since it’s mostly an industrial area. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised. It was very spacious and clean. We were greeted immediately upon entry.

Ordered up a couple breakfast plates and they were made fresh to order! Had Portuguese sausage with spam and another with corned beef hash. Eggs were cooked perfectly over easy and loved how all the meets were grilled hard with a little char crust on them. I loved how the corned beef had a crisp crust on them and were perfectly circular…for some reason they reminded me of meat coins and that brought a smile to my face.

Lots of lunch plate varieties and poke also available. Will definitely have to try those next time.“

“I haven't the foggiest idea how I found out about Susha Bites but, besides my 3 great children and my husband who is my own personal chef, this place is up on my list of what I am grateful for. We moved to Charleston Heights three years back and it is a good area for fun eateries. More are popping up all the time! We order delivery because well, COVID changed our life patterns so much, and we are now loyal fans. If we have to decide what to eat, Susha Bites is always popular in our house. Maybe tonight too! So we have tried quite a few. My husband loves the chicken bowls. I am a huge fan of Chickidiggy and the spam musubi which is big enough to support my car if I ever get a flat tire!! Silly Lily and Screaming Olivia are also very tasty. I also love Leeky Sushi, Joerrito and the Kaotic. Decisions, decisions. Spices are just right and the burritos are really big. With just a zig and a zag over from their location we have our food in no time. Pretty soon it will be much warmer outside so I will hop on over there to check out their smoothies too. “It was my very first time coming here and the food was pretty good but they were all sold out of beef ribs and kalbi:( I ordered the steak and chicken plate and it also came with Mac salad and rice which was so good. I also ordered a Macsabi and that was really good too. The space was pretty small but exceptional. The customer service was OUT OF THIS WORLD SPECTACULAR! My servers name was Jaime and she was very pretty and polite and guided me through the menu! There were also two other young ladies that was helping me and making sure I was enjoying myself! Shoutout to those three wonderful young ladies, you guys are doing great keep up the good work! I will be visiting here again to try something new!“

“I believe it’s the only buffet left on the original strip (Freemont Experience) I went for the prime Rib and it was just as good as the Prine Rib I bought at the George, for half the price.

It was also half the amount of Prime Rib, but given the fact that it’s an all you can eat buffet … You could always go back.

The crab legs were basically water and on the occasion I visited, steamed too much, where the legs were rubbery and hard to access the crab.

The sides were decent, a bit of a hit or miss but again … For example, they don’t really steam their broccoli enough for it to be considered cooked, their Spanish rice was too dry, perhaps had been sitting too long, the ranchero beans were average (nothing special) as was their pork chili.

However, I mixed the beans and pork chili, placed them both atop the Spanish rice and VOILA … aside from the Prime Rib, that combo was the absolute best.

So, you may need to be creative.

I spent $34 bucks plus a $6 tip and had access to a lot of food and unlimited beverages.

The value is there, even if it’s a treasure hunt … for me, that’s part of the buffet excitement.

I took a friend however and he suggested the Palms near the Strip 🤷🏾‍♂ Said he would neither refer nor revisit this one.

I will, in fact as a flight attendant … I find this and Sushi Ichiban to be the best deals which I will regularly rotate when I’m working a Vegas layover.

That said …

Their chicken, fried or baked was NOT GOOD … don’t even try it.

On the other hand, If they have bread pudding as a dessert option … It’s a MUST❣

My friend graded it a D, I grade it a solid B … if budget is a consideration a B+“

“We came here cause my uncle visiting from Hawaii was craving local saimin… he said tasted the same kine like Hawaii— which is a compliment haha. The BBQ mix plates.. tasted the same too like Hawaii haha. The chicken and Terri beef was on the dry side but still satisfied our taste buds. The kalbi was Ono and I loved the Mac salad.

What I don’t care for is the customer service which wasn’t bad.. but it’s not so much aloha spirit. I can understand if they were having a bad day or just tired.. but I would have appreciated a smile. But after been living here for 3 months.. I noticed a lot of locals adapt to the LV spirit of being lukewarm or not very welcoming. Though of course we will return cause we will always crave local food!

“The people here are so sweet! We didn't realize that we are just a minute or so late, and they stayed open for us to make sure that we got our food. Everything is great, but loco moco is my favorite. It is so good, that even my dog will not leave me alone until he knows there is no more.“

“We’re big fans of Hawaiian food, and L&L absolutely understood the assignment. I ordered the Regular Chicken Curry, which in hindsight was a tactical error because that thing could feed a small village. The “mini” would’ve been plenty unless you’re training for an eating competition.

My dining partner went for the short ribs and immediately entered a state of bliss. She said they were soooo good—the kind of good where you stop talking mid‑sentence because your taste buds demand silence.

Now, the ramen noodle soup with spam… oof. That one was giving strong “college dorm emergency meal” energy. Zero flavor. Tasted like someone opened a store‑bought ramen packet, shrugged, and said “good enough.”

But credit where it’s due: the front‑of‑house lady was incredibly sweet, and the orange pineapple soda? Perfection. Liquid sunshine. Would drink again without hesitation.

Was it too much food? Absolutely. Would we go back? Also absolutely. We’re not quitters.“

“The Holo Holo bar is back in business as of March 20. It was a bit of a mixed experience due to them being out of so many bar items. The couldn't make an Old Fashion, or a Moscow Mule because they didn't have all the ingredients ready to go at relaunch.They did have plenty of beer however. I actually just ordered a Gin and Tonic, but they were out of limes. Oh well give them time. They'll be back up to speed soon.The bartender was friendly and helpful. So that made up for it.“
