Pacific Island Taste, Hawaiian Restaurant is a family-owned spot that feels like a hole in the wall but definitely lived up to the good reviews. The food is knock your socks off delicious, full of flavor, and feels authentic and homemade. Everything is generously portioned, and the poke is soooo fresh and tasty. The Ox tail soup is to die for, and the kalbi with fried saimin has the most delicious, addictive flavor. The chopped beef steak over fried rice also honors special requests. The staff is so friendly, showing so much aloha, and the aunties working there make customers feel like they never left home. The vibe is relaxed, with live music and a band playing soothing lovely music. One of the owners wishes guests well on their journey, making it hard to leave. This is the best Hawaiian food outside of Hawaii, and it has become one of the favorite spots for many.
