“So has taken me a couple of weeks to write this review. Staff? Fricken wonderful. Waiter greeted us as we walked in. I think his name is Sam. We were promptly seated with menus. He explained some of how the AYCE works. Great service!
Atmosphere, very relaxing and quiet. We went in on a day mid week. We were really enjoying and then food came out! Presentation of the plates were so enticing. These were the best tasting items ever. I will let my pictures tell the story.

I will recommend this place over any place here on the north side of Vegas“

The taste, quantity, and freshness of the food were absolutely superb, but the part-timers and owners here were also truly superb. Even though I was a tourist, I was so impressed by the service and friendliness of the owners. This is a restaurant that lacks nothing. I highly recommend it if you want to eat spicy stew or raw fish. Everything here is just delicious.
It's a restaurant that you'll make good memories with and keep thinking about when you go home. Thank you, I will definitely stop by next time I travel! :-)“

“First time to Vegas, we came to eat at Sushi & Shabu Time. The staff is super friendly as soon as you walk in they are happy to see you. The food is bomb and you get to customize your order. I revoke the lemon salmon sushi roll. Really good portions and over all great place. 10 out of 10 will definitely come back on my next trip.

“Stopped by since we were in the neighborhood and wanted Sushi. Service was good and the restaurant is not that big.

We had a roll that I forgot what it was called but it was good.

The food was delightful. The karage was tender and had a good flavor. The shrimp tempura breading was also tasteful. The sushi (tuna) was fresh and we enjoyed both rolls.

I would highly recommend if you're in the area.“

“Firstly, I highly recommend choosing the “DINNER” pricing even when coming for lunch. This is the main reason I can’t give it a full 5/5 because the lunch pricing came with way too many LIMITATIONS like the amount of nigiri pieces each customer can order, which defeats the purpose of AYCE. TBH, I was ready to give it a 3/5 until the quality of the food and service changed my mind.

Our server was amazing and gave recommendations of specialty items that the my offer. I believe this place is Mexican-owned which added its own additional flare on some of the dishes in a great way. The rice-to-fish ratio on the nigiri was fair but the quality of the fish really shined. I really enjoyed their rolls and recommend doing 1/2 rolls to get a taste of their differences.

Sounds weird, but there is a “banana sausage” roll which was SURPRISINGLY GOOD! It was sweet, meaty, lightly salty, but also smokey and had a nice texture.

And for dessert I recommend their kind of sweet wonton with ice cream!

“My family's favorite AYCE sushi place. They have THE best rice to fish ratio. Food is always good and most of the servers are attentive. ( there are a couple of times we have had issues with a server never coming by but it doesn't happen often).“

“Such a small (literally only a few tables + sushi bar) and no frills, classic and cozy spot for really fantastic Japanese food and sushi. Quiet and unassuming but out of the park service and beautifully plated delicious food. Would (and will) come back again and again!“

-Yui Edomae Sushi was such a great find!
-Vegas has so many great sushi restaurants & Yui is definitely at or near the TOP of the list.
-Don't let the non-descript strip mall fool you.
-Once you're inside you are instantly transported to Japan.
-The small size of the restaurant w/ it modern, minimal design sets the right mood for a culinary art journey of 95% imported cuts from Japan.
-This is a place where you celebrate w/ someone who loves sushi/sashimi & rare seafood.
-They have 3 omakase menus ranging from $190+.
-The Gensen menu was a really good choice, its the $190 menu per person.
-The variety of dishes were profound & I left very joyful + stuffed.
-The sushi chef always had a smile in his face & he took great pride in serving us.

Overall, this is a very, very good sushi restaurant that is expensive but totally worth the money. Check out my photos!!“

“We chose to dine at Yellowtail for a family outing, as my relatives had previously visited and raved about their experiences. A tip for anyone planning to go: make a reservation in advance! Even with a reservation, we found ourselves waiting over 20 minutes past our scheduled time.
Once seated, we ended up in the far-left corner near the bar, which came with its own set of challenges due to a large obstruction in our view. However, the silver lining was the exceptional service we received throughout the evening.
Now, onto the food: while some dishes were delightful, others fell a bit flat. The gyoza, cucumber salad, and sushi were somewhat average; there was nothing particularly memorable about their taste or portions, which I believe could use some improvement. On the other hand, the tempura lobster, halibut, and kalbi roll were standout dishes that truly wowed us with their unique flavors and perfect execution.
Overall, Yellowtail has a lot to offer, but there's definitely room for enhancement in certain areas. I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future!“

“Love this place. Drove 7 miles just to come back and eat here. The prices are insanely affordable, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Very sweet family owned business and now they have hibachi! Will have to try that with the whole family next time. The portions are really great as well. “I almost don’t want to give away my secret. I’ve been to nearly 20 different sushi spots, ranging from AYCE (all-you-can-eat) to hot pot and grills, and Sushi Kaya is easily in my top two favorites. I often regret trying other places because they just don’t meet my standards. I’m pretty picky and critical, especially when it comes to things I know should be done a certain way. Sushi Kaya hits all the right notes. Their rolls are exactly what you’d expect in a traditional sense, and their fried calamari is perfection. There are no strange or overly creative rolls—just classics like the black or red dragon roll, rainbow rolls, and so many others, all excellent.“
