Daisho Sushi, located in a strip mall, offers dynamite dining with excellent sushi and service. Customers have praised the attentive staff, with one particular mention of Mei, and their ability to accommodate special requests. The restaurant is hidden but worth the find, with delicious sushi dishes that will satisfy any craving. The parking is convenient, and the overall experience is highly recommended for anyone looking for a new favorite sushi spot. The place was clean, with an open feel, and not busy when visited on a Wednesday night. The staff is super-friendly, making the experience even better. The food includes well-prepared edamame and unique jalapeno puffs, which are more like jalapeno poppers with cream cheese and spicy tuna in a tempura coating—really enjoyable. There are many sushi and sashimi options, and the four maki and uramaki rolls ordered were delicious. Other Japanese options like bento boxes and lunch specials are available, though no buffet cart was seen. Drinks are served well, with a decent-sized Manhattan that shows the staff knows their drinks. The sushi rolls are fresh and tasty, and the Chicken Ramen is fantastic. Mochi for dessert adds a nice touch, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Chef Andre is skilled and takes time to share the process behind their sushi, making the experience even more special. Overall, Daisho Sushi is a hidden gem with delicious food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere worth visiting.
