“When cost is of no concern, Mizumi is at the top of the list of Japanese sushi restaurants in Vegas. Of course, if you're at the Wynn, the expectation is top tier. Mizumi underwent a major renovation recently and it's truly a beautifully designed space with a grand dining area, a cocktail bar, sushi bar and Tepanaki tables (a square space with bar seating around a Tepanaki chef). They have an extensive Sake and Japanese Whisky menu as well as a host of other wines of Europe, US, etc. Our Junmai Sake was a recommendation from the sommelier...the name escapes me. Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura, Chef's Choice Sushi Moriawase, Japanese Yellowtail Tartare plus a Salmon and Yellowtail Sashimi a la carte. Total for 2 people, before tip... just shy of $700.“

“I almost don’t want to give away my secret. I’ve been to nearly 20 different sushi spots, ranging from AYCE (all-you-can-eat) to hot pot and grills, and Sushi Kaya is easily in my top two favorites. I often regret trying other places because they just don’t meet my standards. I’m pretty picky and critical, especially when it comes to things I know should be done a certain way. Sushi Kaya hits all the right notes. Their rolls are exactly what you’d expect in a traditional sense, and their fried calamari is perfection. There are no strange or overly creative rolls—just classics like the black or red dragon roll, rainbow rolls, and so many others, all excellent.“

Not only was this the highest quality fish available and we had the toro and the sushi and sashimi and a variety of other wonderful things. We were going to leave but Chef graciously had made us some more special tuna sushi surprises and even kind enough to provide us with a bottle of Sake for desert! As an appetizer, we ordered sushi and waited for the Hibachi. OM, our Hibachi Master, cooked GF and normal food on separate sides of the grill. He also made sure to change utensils between touching the GF and normal food. Just amazing service and incredible food! Thank you OM for taking care of us! Highly recommend!!

For those unsure of what that is like we were ,you choose a bowl of broth, choose a buffet line of items you want in the broth to cook w/ your meat , then cook very thinly sliced meat in the boiling broth. So yummy, especially with sake. ACYE, including appetizers . There are no to-go containers , so eat up !“

“From the Yelp reviews I read and from the photos it seemed like this place was a huge market but it's much smaller. I don't mind the size. It honestly is a decent size. It reminds me of an Asian convenience store you would find in front of your hotel. I love that they have a selection of fresh sushi, onigiri, fruit sandwiches, and also snacks on the shelves.I ended up getting the salmon onigiri, spicy tuna onigiri, and strawberry peach sandwich. I loved the spicy tuna onigiri and the strawberry peach sandwich was a great dessert.The staff were really nice as well.“

“Last week we had the opportunity to dine with friends at Ondori. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared family style. All our dishes were excellent and the service was terrific . Jeff took excellent care of our table service and always made sure our glasses were full and paid close attention to our every request, even though the restaurant was packed. June was our waiter and he was quick and efficient and took excellent care of us. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Jeff and June!!“
