“This is truly an experience to be savored. I've no pictures but the presentation of every course was beautiful. My wife has talked about this spot for 8 of the 9 years we've been together.Trust that the chefs here know what works well together. Prepare for being a bit adventurous with your food. I had 3 items that I've never tried before: jellyfish that was done up with a miso sauce and some cucumber. Texture was not all what I was expecting. Interesting. The soy soaked salmon roe was also something new, I'd have that again from this restaurant.I'd also never had an oyster before and I fear I'll never have one as elevated as that one!The atmosphere is simple and brilliant. I recommend sitting at the bar so that you can watch the chefs work and also chat with them a little bit while you eat.To the owners and chefs: Thank you so much for such a great experience! It was well worth it. This was our main reason for coming to Vegas.“

Ton Ton is the only katsu I’ve had in the states that was actually on the level of what I had in Japan. It’s a good thing I don’t live in Vegas because I would probably get fat from coming here all the time.I got the thick cut katsu and my girlfriend got the touban-ni. I would probably just get the regular cut next time but it was incredible regardless. If you’re scrolling the reviews debating whether or not to come here, just go!“

“Highly recommend this place, especially from someone who hates ayce. This place is unbelievably amazing. This place serves sushi freshier than other high-end restaurants. It's definitely not an ayce quality. Nigiri is about 2/3 of size with small amounts of rice. I can pop so many of them. It's only one order per person, but they actually have uni, ama ebi, fatty salmon, and trout. Service is good, and food comes out super fast. They don't make you wait in between orders to mess with your flow. large sake was only $8. so much variety of foods on the menu. 30 bucks in this economy is madness.“

“Been patronizing Raku every couple years for the past decade or so and while it remains one of my favorite establishments in Vegas, portion and prices have reflected inflation trends.Their housemade agedashi tofu which I raved as the “Bentley of tofu” (yep, that was the lingo used from my early 20s, lol) many years ago keeps on shrinking in size… it’s still something to write home about but it’s now literally 1/3 of what it was.Wagyu and foie gras will not disappoint. “This place feels like an expensive strip/level sushi spot, but without the crazy price tag. The vibe is absolutely spot-on for a celebratory night out, especially one with the stakes as high as a birthday treat (in this case, it was my girlfriend's bday) The Otoro was a revelation. Honestly, it's like nothing else I've tried in Vegas, giving those authentic Japanese spots a run for their money. The flavor, the texture--just unparalleled. Chicken Karaage - know how some places just drown the chicken in breading, and it's all crunch, no substance? Not the case here. It was perfectly balanced, super juicy on the inside, and the sauce was phenomenal. The Jumbo Scallop Nigiri was another showstopper. Not kidding, it was probably one of the largest scallops I've laid eyes on in recent memory. And taste is Just as impressive as its size. But let's not forget about the Drunken Black Mussel, Albacore Nigiri, and Yellowtail Belly Nigiri. Each dish scored a solid 5 in my book, no question about it. And shoutout to John, our waiter. His service was just fantastic. Made the whole experience even better. In a nutshell, this place is a winner. From the ambiance that sets the right mood, to the divine sushi that can easily hold its own against international standards, and service that makes you feel like royalty. For a special occasion or just because, it's a must-visit.“

The Japanese green tea (although bottled) still tastes delicious. The spicy spam musubi had a perfect thin layer of some version of kewpie mayo and a solid chunk of spam. The gangjung chicken is easily better than Panda Express, but was a little over-breaded for my taste. The spicy sauce could have been a little spicier.Overall, this place was amazing. “Nestled within the vibrant culinary landscape of Las Vegas, O.Onigiri stands as a beacon of authenticity. It offers a tantalizing taste of traditional Okinawa-style comfort food that transports you to the heart of Japan. Located in the bustling Shanghai Plaza on Spring Mountain Road, this charming eatery is a mere stone's throw from the iconic Las Vegas Strip, making it a convenient and accessible destination for locals and tourists alike.O.Onigiri specializes in crafting fresh and flavorful Okinawa-style Onigiri, a beloved staple of Okinawan cuisine cherished for its simplicity and heartwarming appeal. Unlike the conventional triangular Onigiri, the offerings at O.Onigiri boast a unique twist. They feature delectable fillings such as spam and egg omelet, expertly complemented by an array of additional ingredients, including seafood, meats, and vegetables, for added flavor.During my visit to O.Onigiri, I indulged in a culinary adventure that impressed and utterly satisfied me. The "Spider" Onigiri, a delightful fusion of fried soft-shell crab, crisp cucumber, and luscious unagi sauce, captivated my palate with its harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Each bite was a symphony of crispy, succulent, and savory goodness that left me craving more.Equally enticing was the "Aji Fry" Onigiri, featuring crispy horse mackerel coated in a golden panko breading and accompanied by tangy tonkatsu sauce. It was served atop a bed of crisp lettuce and juicy tomato. The juxtaposition of crunchy exterior and tender, flavorful fish was sublime, offering a delightful interplay of textures and tastes that danced across my taste buds with every bite.Last but certainly not least, the Bulgogi Onigiri captured my heart with its savory allure and irresistible aroma. Tender slices of marinated beef infused with the rich flavors of soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil nestled within a comforting embrace of warm rice created a symphony of savory goodness that left me craving more. Moreover, the restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy and welcoming feel that made me feel right at home. The immaculate service was impeccable, with the servers always on hand to ensure every need was met and every desire fulfilled. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes and offered recommendations based on their personal favorites.Overall, my experience at O.Onigiri was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and, most importantly, the mouthwatering array of Okinawa-style Onigiri, each aspect of my visit surpassed expectations. The service was outstanding, orders came quickly and out waitress checked on us often. The A5 wagyu looked delicious but was definitely not as good as what we had in Japan. The lobster tails were small but a nice addition to the menu. All of the meats were good quality as well as the raw fish items. The s'mores are a fun addition at the end and are unlimited too! We ordered the sushi platter and the fishes/seafood offered were pretty basic and likely catered towards less adventurous sushi eaters. We were quite disappointed with the selection and should've opted for a la carte. The sushi quality was not bad but we expected more from the restaurant. Even if we hadn't tried Zuma earlier in the week and was blown away by the food there, Morimoto did not meet our expectations. We also loved the lemon salmon nigiri and regular salmon nigiri. We were excited for the wagyu, but it was alright. We actually ended up liking the premium ribeye more. The shabu broths were alright, could've used a bit more oomph, but they did the job.Overall, had a great time and the food was solid. Giving it 4 out of 5 stars cause it was a great meal, but it could’ve been more flavorful.“

“Very clean, appropriately spaced seating and unassuming, finding this spot was unexpected. A large sign saying SUSHI was all I could see, but the place had more than that. Authentic Japanese cuisine, some Hawaii favs like spam musubi (done nigiri style) and ramen, both Japanese and Korean style. The vegetable tempura was so good! I also had spicy Japanese ramen, a miso soup, and a hot tea. What took the show was actually the Barley green tea. Light, refreshing, and delicious! I swear I could feel it detoxing me from the night of drinking before. It is one of the must visit eating places away from the strip. So good, that I forgot to take pictures before eating all of it.“

“We had the omakase menu because we booked ahead of time (didn't get a choice) and I have to say I was blown away! The char on the skewers were right on and I definitely was walking out of there with a food coma. On the pricier side but it was delish. FYI- This was a smaller restaurant and we saw a couple parties of 2's and 4's try to walk in without success.“

The server was so cautious and informed as were the sushi chefs. I can’t say enough about their kindness. And the food was fantastic and so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be regulars at this place just wish it weren’t so far from my house.Dietary restrictions: Celiac / gluten free“

“Ordered delivery on Door Dash. Everything was packaged very well, and the prices are reasonable for the portions especially these days. All of the dishes we ordered were flavorful and tasted as expected. Really love the Mei Fun. This is a solid mostly Chinese American style takeout spot. It's definitely better than the takeout spot that is closer to me so I will continue patronizing this shop.“

“I was able to get a last min reso for my family before a show. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by what we received. It's a sharing style restaurant, however due to different food preferences, we all got our own meals. The sushi was top notch and that's impressive as I live in a place known for great sushi. I don't eat meat, but my husband does and had the waygu hot rock. He said hands down the best he's ever had. You get to cook the thin slices of beef on a hot rock right at your table. The Chilean seabass was so flavourful. Even the simple green salad had so much flavour. Our service was top notch. So friendly and welcoming. The food arrived extremely quickly, giving us plenty of time before our show. I would highly recommend eating here for one of your meals.Vegetarian options: The garlic edemame was so good. I couldn't stop eating it“

“Some friends introduced us to NeNe and we've been back several times since. It's actually become our go-to for sushi. But not only for sushi, they have excellent options for everyone in the family from the young kids to the older one and to me and my wife. The sushi is always fresh and diverse. From the basics like salmon nigiri to the brown butter scallop. My son has locked in on the black miso cod risotto and my wife's favorite is the son noodles with uni. We caught the happy hour a couple times which was nice on pricing. We get the chicken and steak skewers and basic rolls for the littles. Oh, I almost forgot the crispy rice spicy tuna!! That's on the happy hour menu too! The service has been top notch every time. It's a cute little place. We usually call ahead to see if they're busy, but so far, never had an issue getting a table. Can't say enough good things about this place!“

“Ya'll, when I tell you Tora Katsu and Curry is it, I meant it!I'm always looking for a taste of Japan around the city, I feel like I found it here. It's not very big, so if you come with a large group just keep that in mind. However, they are very accommodating! To start I ordered myself a tomomasu white peach soda and my partner got a coke (it's from the can/bottle). I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp and Soba (heads up that the soba is served chilled with a dipping sauce). A declicious little croquette was also included as well as Japanese pickles, cabbage with a dressing and a katsu dipping sauce. I'm drooling just thinking about it. For the most part the staff will hand you a hand grinder for the full experience of making your own katsu sauce. That was really unique and fun! Our server was a little busy so she did it for us. My partner ordered the Hire Pork (less fatty) Katsu and Udon. He had the same fixings as myself and we ordered a side of curry to alternate dipping in katsu sauce and that. Highly recommend that if you want to try a little bit of everything. He reported that it was indeed delicious. The general vibe I got of this place is very mom&pop- like so when you get there, make sure you're patient. The staff are incredible friendly and I can tell they are doing their best. The food was really well done, fried to perfection! If you are on the fence, go!“

“I love this little shop! I'm so happy a Japanese store opened near my house. It's smaller than the other location, but they have sushi, assorted snacks, desserts, drinks, ramen, and condiments. There's this Japanese garlic chili oil that I love, I usually order it from Amazon or wait until a friend brings it back from Japan, but now I just go to this shop and buy it! So convenient. It's also a great place to grab a light lunch. Their California rolls are super fresh. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the labels.“
