I started with the Caesar salad and the maple-glazed bacon appetizer—both incredible. The Caesar was crisp and perfectly balanced, while the bacon was thick-cut, smoky, and sweet with just the right amount of richness to get the evening started right. For entrées, I ordered both the Australian Wagyu Flat Iron and the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and let me just say—wow. The Australian Wagyu was deeply flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. But the A5? Next level. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection with layers of buttery umami that left a lasting impression. What made the experience truly unforgettable was the service. “This was the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to we were seated in this amazing atmosphere with everything from swords shields and medieval suits of armor, They also had this live violinists playing everything from Lady Gaga to Allanis morrisette and he’s was really good, we were quickly given their toast with bacon jam which was incredible then we decided to order the Alabama chicken and the bone marrow the chicken was fall off the bone tender and tasted amazing the bone marrow and toast was delicious it had an impeccable fatty flavor after that we ordered the 50 oz dry aged porterhouse with Mac and cheese mashed potatoes and cream spinach as our sides the steak was a perfect medium and the truffle butter on top was fantastic, the mashed potatoes were delicious and had a hint of garlic, the Mac and cheese was super flavorful and the top was crispy, the cream spinach was cream spinach, then we ordered the chocolate lava cake, I’ve had a lot of chocolate lava cakes before but this one was special the molten interior was just wow, it was also my birthday so they brought out a sparkler and they actually let me wear a knights helmet and hold a sword for a little bit to take pictures which was really cool they also brought out a special kind of mini raspberry macaroon and cake for free which also tasted great, and that’s about it, I never really take this much time to write out a review for a restaurant but this one made my birthday special and i hope more people will see this and go expirience it for themselves.“

“We decided to try Scotch 80 Steakhouse at the Palms Casino. The ambience, service and food are above par. I strongly recommend this restaurant for an outstanding dinner experience. My husband had the New Zealand King Salmon and I had the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass ( the best Miso Sea Bass I've had on a long time) and side order of Wagyu fried rice.
We started off with the Shrimp cocktail and the Iberico pork lumpia and finished with assortment of sorbet. James and Glenda our waiter and server provided excellent service. My compliments to Marty Lopez the chef who provides top quality tasting dishes. We will definately be back.“

“My wife and I absolutely loved our dinner here. The cocktails are a little better in their downstairs bar so stop in there and take a drink up to the restaurant. Everything was delicious and service was outstanding. There were people wearing shorts and polo shirts. I only mention that because we weren't sure what was acceptable attire.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. Seated on time, nice ambience, bread(multiple options) to starters to steaks all delicious and cooked to perfection. Drinks were very good. Pricing is a little on the higher side but you get what you pay for. Service was not rushed and pleasant. I also hear they have a happy hour. Next time we go to Orleans I may consider trying it.“

My husband got the Fillet and Asparagus side and I got the chicken pasta special which was lemon butter sautéed chicken on a bed of homemade pasta and one of the best salads I've ever had. I can't wait to recreate it at home. For Desert we had crème Brûlée which was fabulous! I highly recommend one of the best steak houses on Fremont!!“

The food was very good, the drinks were good, and the restaurant is beautiful. The staff was excellent too: friendly, attentive, and very well-trained.

My main issue was the value. We paid almost $500 for three people, and while everything was good, I do not think the food justified that price. I have had many meals I liked just as much or better for a LOT less. The cocktails were also expensive for how small they were.

This is a very service-heavy, high-touch dining experience, so some people may love that. Personally, I would rather pay for the food than the extra layers of service. Overall, good experience, but way overpriced for me, and I would not go back.“

“Dinner the night before Gary's cataract surgery. We asked for a booth in the bar, got a half booth, that set the tone for me. Food was good, my steak was cooked perfectly rare. I think they changed the cesar dressing, it was thin and bland. I'd rate service was a tad above decent, the hostess said we had the best server. If that's the case they need to re-think it.“

“Last night ve visited celebrity chef Michael Mina's restaurant Stripsteak located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Casino, and Resort in Las Vegas. Stripsteak is one of five restaurants owned by Mina in the Las Vegas area. Stripsteak specializes in butter-poached aged beef. The ambiance is energetic and vibrant while the decor is modern. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by the front-of-the house-staff and seated right away. You could really feel the great energy in the restaurant--the tables were nearly full, and a cheerful hum of conversation filled the space. Plus, the bar area was completely packed, making it a lively bustling energetic evening. Our server Steven was great! He brought great energy and was attentive and welcoming. His knowledge of the menu and the night's specials was much appreciated. The restaurant provides a trio of complementary fries with sauces to start your evening. We also ordered our usual Sauvignon Blanc and Old Fashioned refreshments. We kept it simple on this visit, my wife ordered the miso-glazed Sea Bass and I ordered the 14 oz Australian Lobster Tail with clarified butter. The Sea Bass included bok choy, honjimeji mushroom, and pea purée. The fish was perfectly caramelized, with a slightly charred exterior and a buttery melt-in- your-mouth interior. The Australian Lobster Tail was perfectly broiled opaque with zero translucency. I added grilled prawns as an enhancement to the lobster tail. We also ordered a side of asparagus for the table. We ended dinner with the beignets for two dessert featuring three sauces; macallan butterscotch pudding, chocolate pot de crème, and vanilla crème brûlée. One word, delicious!!“

“yesterday, Friday December 1st 2023 I had a procedure done so hadn't eaten since the Wednesday evening before. I wanted a steak and as far as we are concerned Outback is the best steak in town. I was groggy from anesthesia so I just wanted to get it and go home it was 3:20p.m. and we called and placed our order. an 11oz steak and 2 sides of screamed broccoli. by the time we got there we shou8have had much time to wait a d sure enough it was about done. Problem? It was a 6oz steak with 1 side of greenbeans and 1 side of broccoli with cheese. The completely remade my order. However my Husband was annoyed because I was sitting in the car very groggy from anesthesia and starving from not earing for almost 48 hours and we now had to wait yet another 20 minutes. They brought it out to our car in less than 10 minutes AND gave us both orders. as of today Saturday December 2nd I've eaten both orders they were delicious and perfectly cooked. Well done Outback!“
