“The bartender and waiter always improvises a mocktail for me is my favorite part. The hostess always gets my napkin for me. Service is great. Server comes to the table often. Wished they still had lamb. Also, the lobster portions used to be small. Desserts are pretty but tastes okay. A little too creamy. High end, but the salads are very reasonable. They always allow us to share salad, so we get two salads instead of one. Food is very filling and delicious. Music is really nice all the time. <3 Miss coming here! :P“

“When you make a reservation, be sure to say that you would like a table or booth. They were going to sit us at a table in the middle of the dinning room. It was even nosier and a lot going on. “For my dining experience, I had Mary's Organic Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus. All of the food was excellent and seasoned well, especially the Asparagus. It was so tender and flavorful. I could have eaten just that for my dinner and be completely satisfied. The meal was a little pricey, but it was worth it. The whole dining experience was five stars!“

“This place is pretty hidden within the casino but was a nice, “quiet” lunch compared to many places on the strip. While I’ve never been to the Brooklyn location, the service and food were an absolute delight. I’d definitely come back again on a future trip.“

“This place was wonderful. I had a business dinner and I was staying at Mandalay Bay for conference. I was able to snag a table an hour before.

Luis was an amazing server, I wish I could request him on my next trip. I ordered the Duck Fat Prime Rib. Now, I’m a meat expert especially red meat and this cut, to the way it was cooked was perfection. It’s hands down the best I’ve had. Do not hesitate, just order it. I ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze and the cocktail was also very good.

Kid-friendliness: Don’t bring your kids, this is an elevated dining experience. They will be overstimulated and will not find something for them“

I had severe symptoms ranging from tremors, trouble walking, Stiff muscles whole body weakness, rigidity and stiffness. “The service was exceptional. We enjoyed the horseshoe shaped Booth with a very wonderful atmosphere. We had the filet and the salmon and the food was delicious. We each had a cocktail and came during their social hour where many items were half price on the menu. You can't beat the deal.“

“Family booked it and I wasn't sure about a casino on New Years for a good diner... But the reviews ahead of me did unsettle me but i went ahead anyway and made my own opinion. Pleasantly surprised. I ordered a filet mignon that was cooed exactly to temperature with béarnaise sauce, my other half had a dietary allergy and Erick was PHEMONENAL on ensuring his meal was safely prepared and brought to the table The other couple had petit filet and everything was cooked as asked, the sides (Potato, asparagus and fries) were deliciously flavored and cooked appropriately. The waiters personality, attitude and timing were spot on! He offered a refill when it was the right time and the drinks were delicious as well. You do pay for quality and i was ok with the costs as the experience was a terrific New Years in Reno with family. “I feel Like Someone needs to reply to this comment. Tia, if you are saying that yoir server was nice and patient, the. Why would you insult your server by only tipping them $20 on a 500 tab? I think your server felt like you needed that $20 more then they did, and thought they were really doing you a favor. You should have left that server $60 at the very least . And that’s if the service was bad. You said that your service was good. I feel like my 5 stars are needed to cancel out your one. Do better for our servers.“

“I made reservations a couple months in advance and requested the patio seating. We had amazing seats and the food was incredible. Their steaks are a step above and their signature sauce is a must. The entire staff were friendly and attentive and made the night that much better. As an FYI if you order any side dishes they are large enough to feed two people each.“

“This was an incredible visit. My wife and I were in Las Vegas and decided that a trip to the Gordon Ramsay Steak was mandatory as we are both huge fans.

The service and the atmosphere was absolutely world-class. The food was stellar, the wine, exquisite. The only disappointment, as I noted to my server was that this effectively ruined all other food for me.

In all seriousness, it was a great experience. For us, this definitely classes as a "treat yourself' experience on account of the price tag. But it was definitely worth it.“

“Food was great. We had bone-in ribeye, lobster tail, Caesar salad and potato gratin. Cheesecake and cigar chocolate cake were both magnificent. Based on the name, we thought it would have a more “gangsterly” feel. It didn't. $350 for dinner and tip with no alcohol. A little high for overall experience, which is why we give it 4 stars.“

“Prime rib was standard, not great. The crust was overdone and lacked a good seasoning. The meat was tender but not melt in your mouth, like you would expect with prime rib. The Au Jus was nothing above par. Our sides, parmesan brussel sprouts and smashed potatoes were wonderful. Neither lacked seasoning or flavor. Portions were generous. The potatoes came with a chimichuri which we ordered on the side. We were glad we did as the flavor profile of the sauce made little sense and did not enhance the potatoes flavor. For dessert we ordered the mixed berry cobbler. DIVINE! It was the star of the meal and we highly recommend. Service was impeccable. Given the number of great steakhouses on/off the strip, this would not be our first or second choice.“

“One of my very favorite restaurants in Vegas. On like others in the strip their prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. Hamachi Crudo, Escargot with Truffles and King Salmon all spot on. Amazing wine list and nice by the glass selections. Great service and nice vibe. Highly recommend!“

“My birthday celebration was a resounding joy and success! Grateful to my husband for taking me to Joel’s Chophouse at the Ahern Hotel! We love fine steakhouses and indulge ourselves a few times a year. Joel’s will certainly get more visits! The food was spectacular, the staff super friendly and attentive, the vibe great, and the other guests were nice too. That Tomahawk steak was epic! The side dishes and desserts, along with the wines we tasted made the night so very special! While I like other steakhouses on the strip, truth is, it’s easier, more pleasant and more inviting at Joel’s Chophouse. Prices are what you would expect at a fine steakhouse, but we saw that they have many specials on selected evenings. We got on their mailing list! Like Arnold said: “I’ll be back!”

Parking: Parking is FREE, unlike other strip steakhouses… since Ahern Hotel is small, walk to the restaurant is a short distance. Safe and secure parking lot with cameras everywhere“

“About a half hour wait on a Friday, so not bad. Pretty noisy place, not for a quiet night out. Everyone's food was good, hamburger was great! Service good.

Kid-friendliness: Might be a little crowded for an infant in a stroller.“

“Presentation and service were spot on! The bread and butter is fantastic. I had the surf and turf.... steak was done the way I asked (medium) and very tender but they don't season their steaks so flavor was not that great. The side of carrots were delicious but serving was quite small for sharing, the blue cheese Mac n Cheese is yummy but very strong (and I love blue cheese)...the chocolate cake was good, the creme brulee had 3 different flavors in small dishes, the vanilla was great but the other 2 were barely ok.“

“This is the second time going to Echo & Rig and had an amazing time. My wife and I flew in from Idaho for a few days away from the cold. My sister and brother-in-law drove up from California to meet us and from the glowing review I told her about from the 1st time I came here my sister wanted to go. We were 1/2 hour early and they were able to seat us within 5 minutes. Lucas was our server and he did an incredible job. My sister can be a little demanding and difficult and he took it in stride, he never got frustrated or impaired his service to us because of her. Thank you to the entire staff at Echo & Rig, we will definitely be back!“
