“Hank’s Martini Steak is one of those places I genuinely want to rave about every time I visit—and mostly, I do.

The atmosphere immediately makes you feel like you’re in for a good evening. The martinis are excellent, the appetizers hit the mark, and it’s the kind of place you come to unwind after a long workday.

That said, there’s a recurring hiccup during happy hour. Service usually starts off strong—first martini, appetizer, initial check-in—but then I sometimes find myself forgotten. I’ve spent more than one happy hour waving for a second drink. It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s noticeable.

Now, let me talk about what truly keeps me coming back.

Tonight, West was playing the piano and absolutely took the room back in time. The entire bar was engaged, singing along, and loving every minute of it. His tip jars said everything before anyone had to.

And then there’s Juan (forgive me if the spelling is Q or J)—I secretly call him “City Aisle” because he’s from New York 😄.

We’re newer to the area after moving from Miami, and even though we only come in about once a month, Juan never forgets us. He remembers what we like, consistently checks in, and genuinely makes us feel welcomed. Because of his friendliness, not only do I keep coming back—but my girlfriends do too. Ladies’ night at Hank’s has become a repeat thing because of Juan.

Even when we’re not in his section, he fills the gaps—always taking a quick peek to see if we need anything.

What stood out most tonight was that it wasn’t just me saying this. Sitting at the bar near the piano, multiple people talked about how wonderful Juan is as a server. That kind of reputation doesn’t happen by accident.

They say you should give people their flowers while they’re still here—and Juan absolutely deserves his. And many, many tips.

Despite the occasional service inconsistency during happy hour, I love Hank’s. If you’re in the Green Valley area and looking for a great happy hour with strong drinks, live music, and standout service, this place is worth checking out.“

“Dinner the night before Gary's cataract surgery. We asked for a booth in the bar, got a half booth, that set the tone for me. Food was good, my steak was cooked perfectly rare. I think they changed the cesar dressing, it was thin and bland. I'd rate service was a tad above decent, the hostess said we had the best server. If that's the case they need to re-think it.“

“Celebrated my birthday there last night. Everything was perfect. We had the Fillet & Lobster special. The beef was cooked to perfection and lobster was amazing. The Brussels sprouts we so good and the mashed sweet potatoes were sinfully good. I was treated to a Crème Brûlée for my birthday. Our waiter Juan and assistant Rosa were so kind and efficient. I could not ask for a better birthday dinner.“

“They take care of the drivers.. truckers this is a great place to do a 10 or 34. Plenty of space for your truck also Clean showers and the food is great. I know there is much more to do than just the casino but I didn’t get to explore those things. Will definitely stop again when I come back.“

“There wasnt as many choices/items compared to bigger Vegas buffets. However, the 3 big meats Prime Rib, Lamb, and Beef Wellington were pretty good. Never seen beef wellington at a buffet so it was nice. Unlimited Lobster tails were awesome. The was also cooked with a buttery sauce and it was already butterflied so you dont have to open it yourself +10 points for that.“
