This is THE classic steakhouse in Las Vegas that has been a "must-go" institution for decades. Visit once and you'll understand why. The food, the service, the atmosphere are all oozing with the old Las Vegas vibe. We finally decided to try The Golden Steer Steakhouse. Wanting to see if it being the longest operating steak house in Las Vegas was based on quality or hype. No hype here. Everything from the service to the quality of beef was excellent. We spent around 200 for our meal and drinks for our anniversary. The porter house we chose practically fell apart when you went to take a bite. No frills classic steakhouse. I had high expectations and they did not disappoint. Bar staff able absolute pros. Phil and I didn’t catch the woman’s name were great. Highly recommend. Will make a reservation for the dining room next time.
